This pack was made up of adults who are not related to each other, and fought for dominance because there was no familial hierarchy. Wild wolves do not "fight" for dominance. Any squabbling you do see is simply a father wolf or a mother wolf telling their offspring to behave and trying to teach them how to survive. The "strongest" is not always alpha, as the parents may be older and weaker than their younger offspring as time goes on.

In the wild, they know already who gets the resources first or what have you, because those are their parents and siblings. Think of it like you and 5 other random people who don't speak the same language are thrown into a house to live together. You all have different rules for how houses function, and each of you has a different way of running things. If you didn't know these things from the get go, there's bound to be constant fights over the mayo being put on the bottom shelf instead of the fridge door, leaving the toilet seat up, who gets to shower when, who gets what food if multiple people like one thing, etc.

British person here, I was actually shocked to hear cottontail rabbits don't live in warrens! Rabbits without rabbit warrens is hard for me to imagine, but I suppose yours live more like hares do. Thanks for teaching me something new! :)
You might not see this Seri, but I recommend a game called Sky: Children of the light. It’s a mobile game that came out on switch a few months ago. The graphics are out of the world, and it would be fitting if you played it! (Also, it’s made by That Game Company which also made Journey!)
There’s SO MANY rabbits in my horses paddock, and they don’t even ran away that much, gotta be more then a hundred, hiding in all the bushes, even MORE if ya count the surrounding areas... they spread fast, eat all the grass not just for my horse but for all the native animals in Australia too
Seri Those were girl wolves- The Other Two Were Males if the symbol is down It's a girl if it's up it's a male. No offense just rename them but you can keep the name pine cause that can be a girl name to but that's your choice

im european, (and swedish, sweden is in europe btw) and yes, there are a LOT of rabbits, but not many swedih rabbits, i think the swedish bunnies has almost gone extint! The rabbits that i there, however, well, lets just say theres TONS of them. oh, and just an fact: Swedish rabbits get white coats in the winter, but not the rabbit that is insweden but isn't swedish.

To be honest I can't really blame Seri for getting the female and male symbols switched up, I used to be so confused by them as a kid. They can still be a bit tricky if you've not seen them for a while!

Seri hold on to your hat but, there's an old game I think you'd might love to play. It's called Impossible Creatures. You'd get to mix and match two animals into one for their abilities. Like being able to fly like an eagle even a chameleon ability to camouflage.
