- I start the day in Markle, Indiana at the Markle Exit 286 Antique Mall, then travel to Kokomo, Indiana and visit the Treasure Mart Antique Mall, which I haven't visited in many years. The Soda Fountain play set was adorable! You always show the coolest things in the malls you explore...I see so many special toys & figurines that I have never seen before...like the tin litho Minnie Mouse knitting in the rocking chair!

We were at the Markle Mall after Thanksgiving, of course, right before their open house! Our kids live in Indy, so we pass by there on our way from Michigan. We got some great Roseville pieces there.
It is a really great mall to visit any time! They always have a great selection :) Thank you for watching

Hi, Amie. I just discovered your channel and am so excited to have found a RUclipsr who shops in my neck of the woods! Next time you venture to Indiana. check out Heart of the Lakes Antique Mall in North Webster, Indiana. It’s a good sized mall for a small town, and the prices are amazing. There are several antique malls/shops within a short drive, so it would make for a fun trip (Dutch Lady in Nappanee, Pierceton IN -antique capitol of Indiana, US 30 Countryside Antiques in Larwill).
I have visited all of the places you have mentioned many times over the years. Two videos before this one called, "Shop With Me Across Indiana" I stopped into the Dutch Lady that day among several other places :) Thanks so much for watching!

It would be hard to restrain myself in both places. The space ship toy was fun to see. The Busy Beatty collection (unsure) was fun also. I've had such the desire to get out hunting this weekend but the weather kept me home. Your video as always is fabulous and once again helped get me through the itch to get out and seek. 🙂

Omg! I live in Indiana and about a month ago we were traveling, and always stop at any and all antique malls along the way && we happen to pass by Markle Antique Mall, so we stopped.. of course it was on their busiest day- Christmas open house! But I really enjoyed their mall. I loved the huge ephemera booth with tons of books and other paper.
I spent over an hour in that book and ephemera booth every time I visit!

I have the Busy Biddy planter on a bike and I love her! I've had it for maybe 20 years...I have never seen that many together at once. The prices on those seemed really reasonable, did you buy them? 😊
In the 10 years I have been selling ceramics, I never have done very well with that series, even though they are pretty hard to find! The prices were great, but I did not buy any of them sadly. Will keep it in mind the next time I find a piece, if there are certain ones you are looking for, you can always send me an email with photos and price points, I dont mind private shopping :)

Another really good video Amie. You sure do take us to the nicest places. And thank you for telling the price. If it's too high, you mention that and if its too low, it goes in your cart. Since I'm fairly new to your channel and have not watched many of your backlog videos, I've been meaning to ask you what area of Michigan do you live in? I ask because I want to get out there and shop some antique stores. I do have a favorite thrift store in my area that I go to every few months. I'm not a reseller but just someone who likes antique and vintage. So, do you have any recommendations for me? I live in the western suburbs of Detroit. I am willing to travel 1 to 2 hours away from home. I would really appreciate any and all suggestions.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I live in south/central Michigan, near Battle Creek in a town called Marshall. There is a video from October (Called, "Detroit Antiquing with a side of Running") when I visited Detroit for a half-marathon, and I visited lots of antique places in the area, hopefully that video can give you some ideas of stores to visit, plus the addresses and hours are in the description of that video as well.
@@enamor_amie I watched that video and a late congrats on finishing your race. The only shops I went to that were in that video was Plaza Antiques and The Town Peddler. I've never been to Marshall but have always wanted to visit because of it's history. I remember from my school days that it almost became our state's Capitol but Lansing won in the end. Thank you for your response.
I’m confused. Was Bilt an acceptable spelling for Built at one time? I’m referring to the Red Riding Hood Book. I’ve never seen it written like this. Google had no answers. 😮
Hmmm, I wondered the same thing on the spelling! I have not seen it like that on anything else, so Im not sure!
