So simple, but with all the supplies we have, we don't necessarily think about that kind of thing. Very cool, Tiffany. Thank you for this tutorial or reminder for others.
LOVE LOVE LOVE those ideas. I have had Heavy bodied Gesso on my list for FOREVER....now I NEED it....lol. GREAT ideas Tiffany, thanks for a great video. 😘😘🎨

Hello. I saw a diy gesso recipe that used plaster of Paris or baby powder. I’m guessing either of those. I hope that helps. You can also let your gesso sit undisturbed for a few months and then gather the water that is sitting on top. Thanks so much for watching!
I have heard if you leave it set and don’t disturb it the water will rise to the top and you can scoop it out. I think o saw it in the frugal crafters channel a while back. If you don’t mind a bit of grit I use cornstarch often to thicken up paints if need be. I hope that helps.
Thanks so much for sharing. You have given me ideas and reminded me that I don’t need all the supplies. Now it’s time to start creating!
Thanks so much for watching. I appreciate it.

@@Tiffany.Solorio great, thanks.. will try that..stay safe
you lay need to thicken it up. How?
Cornstarch is a great way to thicken thin paint or gesso. I hope that helps.
Hello, how do you thicken the gesso?
You can use cornstarch or you can also leave the lid off the gesso for a bit so the water can evaporate. I hope that helps.
What is gesso made of.
Im pretty sure it’s made of glue chalk and white pigment such as acrylic paint. Hope that helps. Thanks so much for watching.
