Hello Everyone! Who has had to turn their heat on inside yet, wether it be your fireplace, woodstove or heater? The inside decor of the workshop is what I am really looking forward to getting underway, will keep you posted.
Oh for sure we need that healthy balance. I limit my online time. I deactived FB ages ago. Best thing I did. Don’t know if I’ll return. I use to journal. That’s wonderful you do. Wow snow. ❄️ I sure hope we get some this year. Was a wimpy winter last year. Enjoy your solitude.
Yes, what time I spend on line now is mostly here connecting, you can lose yourself if you don't limit that is for sure, thanks Brenda and will be over to check out some of your beautiful vids soon
Good morning Connie, I'm so excited watching this video this morning of you building the little cabin. Especially where it is located and you have to get there by 4 Wheeler. I cannot tell you how much I wanted to help you lug in that woodstove. I have lugged in many of those wood stoves to a cabin. They are by far my favorite woodstove for a woods cabin. I have also broke off many legs on those wood stoves while I was lugging them in LOL. I have many of them I also have Woodstove parts. so I went home and brought in a new leg. I haven't got to the end of the video yet but I could not wait to write a comment on this video. Remind me so much of building Beaver Creek.
Thank you, thank you, so much, I am going to have to get a grouse for that stove top, when we were a little younger like Jackson on a 3 day hunt with Dad when he went to the far river over the hills on the first day, we being tired as it was 9 mile trail walk to my Grandpa's moose camp, and we took a hunting loop around the lakes on way in that made it a bit longer, he let us stay at camp and hunt grouse so we be rested for the next day. When he got back just at dark after all day on the hunt, we had the camp cleaned, water carried from the creek, a fire made, the tea kettle on and grouse frying in the pan, he was so proud of us when he opened that door, he said he could smell that chicken coming up from the creek and made him real hungry lol That's what its all about its how I got to love nature and outdoors so much
GOOD MORNING, Connie. You are doing a really nice job building your shed, looks good enough to live in. You handled that woodstove very well and got it in. Your meal looks mighty tasty, I wanted to grab a fork and get me some thru the screen, lol. take care.
Thanks tons John, when I read your comment it really lifted my spirits, its nice to have someone fully watch the video, respond and take interest, I truly do appreciate that. Stay safe, warm and see you soon.
Yes slowly but surely winter will creep into the picture and erase the beauty of autumn 🍂 Sometimes its not so slow and i suspect faster in your area than here. I definitely need to balance my online and out door times better at times. That heavy stove is tough but no match for your ingenuity. Not easy putting siding on yourself but you're getting it done and doing an awesome job. Good collection of kindling and Firestarter, birch bark always my favorite. starter. I hope you have an awesome week my friend.
@@tuckerandi Thank you very much Garry yes by the 31st its really a change esp. since we had full moon change blue skies today but cooler for hunting game. It was tough but worse is over so going to enjoy using it for sure. Be well take care. Watched vid today over tea time good one👍
Thank you for stopping by and viewing much appreciated. Yes I come from a family history of many years of heavy work outside our trades and desk jobs, it comes with the fishing, farming, forestry. I really thank you for commenting and staying connecting, be safe, see you soon.
Hello again Connie. You are doing great with your build and the food looked really yummy. Good to see you got the stove moved inside and it looked like a bit of a struggle. The fall is ending and I'm sure you will have lots of snow to deal with soon. Don't work to hard. Catch you on your next video.
Hi Larry, the biggest struggle was I forgot to prop the door before I blocked it with the stove lol I got to excited but its all set up now just have to add the pipes. Yes its practising for winter for sure, been frosty but today was lovely and actually did some melt. Really appreciate your visits.
The shop is looking great! We are still waiting for the snow but I was able to set up my hot tent and sleep next to the wood stove for the first time this season!
Getting yourselves some snow out there! Otis is just a bit envious!! lol It was three years ago that we had an inch of snow on the ground this time of year! This year we are still getting temperatures around the 20C mark! Looks like you are going to be as snug as a bug in a rug in that cabin! Awesome stuff!!
Yes my east coast fam is lucky its been ridiculously warm as most generally is until January and then winter is over before you know it, that is the great thing about winter there. I am glad Otis likes snow, if he gets any this year he will be rolling, thanks Bruce for watching and commenting
Thank you my friend, we usually get snow by Oct 31st, this one has just left a bit of white frost on ground now, but it will come soon and not go, I will be over to see your new post soon and thanks for offer to help, stay safe and warm there also
