Quick Backstory on Jedi Bob.
He was released in a lego republic gunship back in 2002 as an unnamed random Jedi character
Then in the first lego star wars visual dictionary book in 2009 he was given the name Jedi Bob and fans have been calling him Jedi Bob since and became a fan favourite since with everyone wanting to see him return in a set or in some capacity
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t he called Jedi Bob by the fans first? And then the visual dictionary just went with the fan name?
@@ashla7567I’m not entirely sure which came first to be honest.
Personally I hadn’t seen or heard anyone call him Jedi Bob pre-visual dictionary release, but this was in 2009 before I had any social media.
@@Clonematics Well I’m probably older than you lol. But I remember hearing of Jedi Bob long before 2009.
After doing a little research, he was definitely deemed Bob by the fans. It was confirmed by the 2009 visual dictionary.

Makes him being named in the dictionary even more special. I always thought it was just a throwaway thing the writers did for fun. But if it’s a nod to the fans. Makes it even better!

Jedi Bob was a nameless Jedi Knight released with the original republic gunship back in 2002, years later given the nickname as a sorta meme which became official in a lego star wars dictionary, now finally back as a full character reference.
If you want to see more lego star wars content I recommend the Padawan Menace, the Empire strikes out, the Yoda Chronicles (old & new), the Freemaker Adventures, Droid Tales, All Stars, & the 3 Holiday Specials.

Here's a quick backstory about Jedi Bob:
He was originally called Jedi Knight and first appeared in the 2002 Republic Gunship set. After his release, fans began to call him Jedi Bob, which would then appear in the LEGO Star Wars visual dictionary from 2009. Ever since then, Jedi Bob has become a fan favorite, and many LEGO fans, including myself, wanted to see him return in a set, TV series/special, and/or video game.
Anyway, I really enjoyed your reaction to this first episode of this LEGO Star Wars miniseries, Louise. Plus, seeing you fangirl when Servo is on screen is just wholesome. If you are interested in watching more LEGO Star Wars content, I highly recommend you watch _The Padawan Menace_ , _The Empire Strikes Out_ , _The Yoda Chronicles_ , _Droid Tales_ , _The Resistance Rises_ , _The Freemaker Adventures_ , _All-Stars_ , _The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special_ , _Terrifying Tales_ , and _Summer Vacation_ in this order.

I love the idea of Shiny creatures in Star Wars, I like how the Lego universe is like hey you wanna see something we can't do in canon or do stuff that might be canon adjacent, yeah lets do it

I was not expecting the intro of the show taking place in the SW universe, but on Earth where the THE LEGO piece would be moved and rebuild the whole SW Galaxy timeline. From there it would made more sense in how the young guy would know so much about the SW stories and it would be even more crazy when he and his friends would then be pulled into the Galaxy we love to start freaking out etc.
Nah, this is a sequel to the older Lego Star Wars short films and shows, like The Padawan Menace & The Yoda Chronicles.
