Also, I guess this isn't a spoiler but rather to temper expectations. it doesn't follow this particular squad of clones as the main cast, but it does feature abnormal clones and heavily revolves around how certain Clone Wars series plot threads resolved
Some fun facts about B1 droids (the yellow ones): They are converted construction droids. After Annakin blows up the control ship in the 1st movie, they were switched off from remote control to having droid brains, but their brains are tiny because of the refit.
Master Chief Petty Officer is also the rank of the character they are thinking of. The main character of Halo is named John-117 but is almost exclusively referred to by his rank. Fun connection that since he was kidnapped for the Spartan program and raised to be a genetically modified soldier he was also given a numeric designation like the clones are.
Aside from Rex, the members of Domino Squad are some of the more central clones in the series. Overall every episode focused primarily on the clones is automatically one of the best in the series.

2:16 "Master Chief" Petty Officer is in fact an _actual_ military title, used within the Navy enlisted, it's the second highest _enlisted_ rank, directly below the Master Chief Petty Officer _of the Navy_ (the names are confusingly identical, yes). Majority of the time it's the regular master chief that's being referred to, which there are multiple of within a navy. Only one person holds the "of the Navy" Master Chief title, though, that's the supreme command rank of the enlisted, the only people they answer to are the navy officers.
Yes and as much as "Master Chief" is often treated more like a name for the HALO Character, John-117 is infact the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer. The UNSC is literally the navy but in Space.
fivesandechofivesandechofivesandecho!!!!! I love that Domino squad really does just get under everyone's skin in the best way. The humanization of and attention toward the Clones throughout the show is one of the things that I think really elevated this show.
What I love about this show is that we see the battles fought on the battlefield, and the political intrigue that plays just as big a role in the Clone Wars.
This show actually does well with Jar Jar. He can be a help, a hinderance and all around an annoying but fun character and he can be serious when needed. This Clone Wars series was an Anthology series, so some stories may arc together in some episodes, others may be about stories that happen even before the "Movie" Plus the Jedi who dies at the end has it in his name "Ima-gun-di"
One of the greatest things about Clone Wars is it's one of the few Star Wars properties that really captures what it's like to be in a war. From the front line battles to the behind the scenes political debates to the viewpoints of those on different sides. One of the things that I think is the secret is that each episode keeps the objective simple. The clone episode was literally them trying to pass to graduate. The Ryloth episode was get the supplies to the people. There were a number of things that needed to happen to achieve that, but because we get what the objective is, it's very clear when things go well and things don't go so well
Jar Jar's distraction scene is a contributing piece, among others, to the "Darth Jar Jar Theory" implying that his clumsiness is all a ruse, sort of like drunken fist kung fu. And in reality he as the reflexes and agility of any force user as shown here
Watching clone wars as a kid was like listening to that war uncle, also any9ne remember the quotes on old cod games when you died? This show is that personified and it's awesome

13:00 Darth Jar Jar with the double force hand wave, that right guard was about to shoot Organa in the back after that dumb line and just pushing past.
The reason that the other show is called the "Bad Batch" is because the main clones possess advanced mutations that give them tactical advantages, but are technically defects. Their squad is officially named "Clone Force 99" after the hunchbacked clone that helped inspire Hevy.
2:57 No, they do not make clones from other clones. They have some of Jango Fett's genetic material in storage and are carefully stretching it out. If you make a clone of a clone you would get replicative fading. A clone of a clone would not be as good as a direct clone of the original person. Lama Su (the Kaminoan Prime Minister) suggested finding a new person to be the new template for future clones.
Remember the names Echo and Fives. They're quite significant... And the Citadel simulation they take during that episode is modeled after a place by the same name, which will come up later.
3:00 Not exactly, they’re stretching Jango Fett’s original DNA sample to produce more clones. Which apparently is causing the sample to degrade rapidly. Which, in real life, is not at all how DNA works. While DNA can be subject to degradation, that process takes millions of years and cloning an individual a million times over won’t accelerate that. Sorry for my little rant. But that’s just something about this series that always bugged me.
