- The Hurry-Up mast can be extended to a full height of 30 feet (9 m) in one minute or less. The Hurry-Up mast features quick lock/release collars to extend the mast manually by pushing up the sections and fixing them in position. This mast is ideal for fast deployment of light-weight antennas and instruments.
You might also check the height of you mast to the distance from any power lines or structure. Especially power lines.
I know its $$$$ when you have to call someone to get a price.....
exactly
It means they are used to selling to the government..... At government prices...
If it looks amazing and is amazing.....expect the price to refect that.
You can always buy some fiberglass tubes and work out the details on your own.
Shouldn't you mount the antenna before raising the tower?
Great idea until you need the truck.....
I noticed he did not have a 20-25 lb antenna with coax to push up. i think that would make it a lot more difficult.
...and I would also be wearing some gloves and a hard had just in case! Over 20 years of Army Signal experience and seen some accidents with telescoping antennas.
@@ScrtAznMn At least you HAD telescoping antennas. We had RS292s. 😁
I like the concept but I want something smaller and lighter with a tripod base with a maximum height of 15 to 18 ft for Ares work or packing into a remote area
that was just too easy. Now I want one.
Would a Mini Van work or do have to use a pick up truck?
Simple but genius
I don’t see what the gains you over a maxgain mast.

Dude you have a product to sell, but I doubt if you will maximize sales without putting pertenant information out front. You already must have a Google account. Google makes it easy to share a content with everyone. Google docs or google drive or whatever google call it now. Create and share word processor document. My Guess is the price will have most pass on this. A collapsible mast is nice but not worth the cost for many. The drive on is not really innovative and can be duplicate by any welder. 30 foot of sturdy mast tubing is easily transported, will go together fast and light weight enough for on person to list to vertical.
Build a ground plate and buy a $75 mast....
Wobbles a lot...
