This is what a government should be made up of, not populists, not performers, not oligarchs or aristocrats. It should be made up of the competent, intelligent and qualified Technocrats that make up institutions like the EU.

Every word that comes out with that tone says nothing more than a technocrat. This is why the EU is so good, ruled by civil service machines knowing full well how to develop your union. Pesky democracy does not get in the way of actual important decisions.
