played unrated yesterday and the enemy jett destroyed us so i asked for her rank. didnt answer but said she plays with her friend for fun and that out team should have someone of similar skill like her because unrated also has matchmaking. i was top fragging and am silver 2 and our teammates were lost. me and my friend checked the jett after the game and she was ascendant like wtf? how is that fair? cant even play unrated for fun because of some random high ranked players in our games
unrated does have a mmr system but it is completely separate from the competitive mmr system and is based upon your performance in unrated games. I think.
Just make an alt account and queue comp. That way you don't really risk your rr, you queue against people of similar rank, and you can still play for fun. For those who say that you're "ruining the game for others" you're not throwing, you're just not sweating your ass off. And you shouldn't need to sweat your ass off to play comp.
