  • Ok - so maybe we didn't make the best turdos or stuporchargers previously. OUR BAD. So we're cutting to the chase and going with straight up compressed air - 80psi worth of it, all flowing through Bad Daddy Braddy's garden piping, into our blow-through carb. Will it survive??

      Need a three-way valve so that all of the air goes into the motor. It wasn't a closed system, because the compressed air would just leak out the filter backwards. The dyno graph shows the brief spike, but that's probably due to just more volume of air, but not actual boost pressure.

  • @floydef8564
    @floydef8564 5 лет назад

    The Y pipe that leads from the pressure supply and the atmospheric supply acts as a boost leak. The pressure should be lead directly into the intake and metering system so that, like a turbo, the air can be accounted for and fueld accordingly as its lead through the only path available. This set up makes the most optimal (lowest resistance) path back out through the air filter to atmosphere. Basically no intake because the air is being supplied and plumb it like a turbo or centrifugal supercharger with a regulator acting as a boost controller by limiting tank pressure to a manageable and unable amount.

    Get another trans to run. Also go to your local hardware store and put a basic back flow preventer behind that air filter. That way high pressure air isn't blowing out past the filter. I bet your "boost" last longer.
