Bluey: Let's take time to appreciate life, relationships, and all sorts of children and families. D Wire: Follow this sketchy old man to his house to own the libs.
Are we sure there’s nothing shady about the daily wire ? The way that clip showed..there’s something really ominous and very creepy about it..mostly Ben Shapiro for instance..I don’t really trust that dude.
People running this company: Men wearing dresses is DANGEROUS!! It’s insanely harmful to children! /:| Also the people running this company: It’s totally okay and safe for children to go with elderly strangers to their house :D
That rabbit character was so unintentionally creepy lmao. Why tf would someone think it's a good idea to teach kids that it's perfectly fine to let an old dude you don't know guide you to his house saying he has something to show you? It's also very frustrating that the parents are written as so incompetent, I feel like that's not sending a very good message to kids. I also think the kids in Bluey being so wholesome and likeable makes for better role models for kids than having them be snot nosed brats like in Chip Chilla, even if that is more realistic.
It doesn't help that the rabbit was voiced by Matt Walsh, one of the most vile and bigoted commentators for the Daily Wire, who has said several years back on a podcast that girls are technically most fertile at 16 (despite research saying otherwise, go figure.) And has said he violates his kids consent and privacy all the time after getting angry at a children's book that teaches kids on consent.
And might I add, bent key (the name of their kids streaming service if you didn’t watch the video for some reason) is a sexual innuendo. So if that doesn’t show that the people running the daily wire are creeps, I don’t know what will man.
The incompetent parenting thing is especially baffling giving how I've heard conservatives complain about the fathers in sitcoms being "bumbling idiots". In their minds that portrayal demeans men and makes women out to be more effective people. What I'd expect from conservative creators is a stern but "fair" father who's always right and who the children come to for advice and obediently follow. I bet what happened is the Daily Wire numbskulls saw the tiniest bit of Bluey and were like "Look at these fun, playful parents. Haha, they're so dumb!" and thought that's what the kids are into.
Not gonna lie, the first half of this video made me forget it was about Chip Chilla in the first place. Bluey has so much heart to it, and seeing a ripoff like this just kinda proves how powerful the OG is culturally. Good vid. :3
Something you pointed out a couple times is how the kids in Bluey are "unrealistic", and the ones in Chip Chilla are moreso because they're more... chaotic, I suppose. I think that is mainly a product of childrearing practices over the past few generations - the values which the producers of Chip Chilla want to promote are the very ones which lead to people acting selfishly and unempathetically, leading to kids who are equally unempathetic and selfish. Bluey is idyllic, but I would say it is still realistic: treat kids right, raise them to be caring and considerate, and they will be sweet and considerate. I assume this is unintentional in both shows, just a product of the creators' views of children, and their care (or lack thereof) towards making sure kids care about other people.
yeah i like i relate specifically to the way the kids in bluey act, i feel chip chilla instead shows general selfishness is “normal” and not a problem that should be corrected. obviously i dont think it’s on purpose but that shouldn’t be the message you’re sending to kids anyway☠️
@@saagabragi6938 Yeah, conservativism views selfishness and screwing others over as some kind of virtue, despite pretending to care about community and the society as a whole.
Another problem with todays society is pride, people can't just humble themselves and their kids see it and act that way too.. as well as involvement in social media at an early age leading children to be parented by possibly bad influences online.. and the fact that a lot of parents seem to shut their children out rather than allowing kids to be curious and allowing them to ask questions, adults forget that kids are innocent and that it's what other people and their parents say to them that makes them out to be the way they are, if you tell a kid to stop asking why then chances are they will go to outside sources (that are typically not good like porn) and learn through more.. inappropriate ways...
As a 23-year-old female with no kids I watched Bluey and I ended up loving it! It is one of the cutest shows I have seen and it is up there with children's media that I was still watch to this day. One of the other children's media that I will watch and one of my favorite shows from my childhood was a little bear. It is such a cozy and cute show!
To quote the Bluey episode 'Chest,' "Work on their heads later, for now, just hearts." This quote truly encapsulates what makes Bluey special, to me personally. For context, that specific episode is about Bandit trying to teach the kids Chess, because he believes that helping them grow up to be smart, will help them in the long-run - whenever he is no longer able to be there, for them. Throughout the episode, the kids break the rules but show moments of sharing, empathy, and creativity -- all of which, Chili praises them for. The point of Bluey isn't to teach kids math, or language, or what-have-you; it is about teaching kids to consider their surroundings & others, under the scope of empathy and consideration; all the while, it encourages adults to also understand children's perspectives and personal nuisances and just why they may do something, that our more 'logical' adult brains would not consider. And as someone who grew up in an American, conservative community, conservatives consider empathy for those we don't immediately understand to be 'woke,' despite the cartoon being otherwise more 'apolitical,' compared to the slop BentKey has been pushing out.
Yes, because stopping bullies, learning you can be multiple things, learning that you can keep yourself entertained, making cupcakes and learning about bravery is conservatives considering empathy woke. This "leftist furry" is dumb and knows nothing about value. Teaching your kids to think and interpret is not a bad thing. Chip Chilla has moments of heartwarming, sharing, empathy and nuance, but this dumb "leftist furry" is too dumb to understand that. Bentkey shows are wholesome, but you don't understand that.
@gdat5838 Did you know that teenagers and young adults are also humans. Humans capable of understanding and reasoning. If being old naturally made you wiser or smarter, we'd be living in a goddamn utopia already. Our world is already ruled by rich old men anyway.
The fact that they made not just not-Bluey but all three of the male characters blue and both of the girl characters pink/purple really says a lot about their “apoliticism”.
@@QuillStroke It's not that, it's that they purposefully made it as a gender differentiation design since "pink = girl and blue = boy" in chip chilla. in bluey you never see blatant gendering of boy and girl, some people even confuse bluey for a boy or bingo for a boy and that's good design since you aren't visually told they're girls because they have eyelashes and skirts or they're boys because they wear jackets/shirts Says a lot for a channel that promised no politics in their content whatsoever
Im so tired of the argument that children can't have any sense of complex thought, yes they are simple but i like this show because it can still allow the kids to have thoughts and emotions that do seem more complex
Each one of the Bluey episodes mentioned had me absolutely balling by the end of them. I’m not exactly sure what that says about me but I loved every episode! The plot lines and the visuals are breathtaking!
When you mean crying - than either you ate just very in touch with your emotions or there is some trauma and Something nice like bluey feels very Healing sometimes
Ngl the camping episode reminds me exactly of what happened a couple times in my childhood. My dad, brothers and I went out camping every summer on a camping where the majority of people were German. We're Dutch, and as a child I never even really realized they spoke a different language. Our languages are somewhat similar and through gestures and whatever it was super easy to build friendships and to keep each other busy despite the language barrier. My dad would often take them out as well to go do fun activities, so did their parents. Sadly the days ended due to the camping turning into more of a holiday resort, but I really wish I could relive one of those holidays
I relate to camping so much because I have had friends move away constantly, not the exact same situation but similar in the way that chilli says "Sometimes special people come into our lives stay for a bit and then they have to go," "The time they were here was special,"
I love Bluey so much. I work with children and if we have some spare time, I tend to put a few Bluey episodes on to watch with them. So much love and care has been out into the show. It doesn’t treat kids as stupid or as a demographic that needs any form of quality. The art, the colours, music and animation is just gorgeous. I always recommend this show to both kids and adults alike. It’s just that good and I think it’s one of the best children’s show this century.
Wow these chinchillas parents are so neglectful they make Caillou’s parents look like the Mona Lisa I know caillou is an annoying show but seriously telling your child to go by themselves to buy some items in garage sells until they encounter a stranger and never notice what this stranger will do to them (Edit: 98 LIKES YO)
You're 17????!!! holy shit man kudos to you for your editing and video structure for your young age. I'm 32 and I've been editing for as many years as you've been alive and I still look up to you!
I'm 56. It has to do with brain plasticity, the younger you are when you start learning a thing, the easier it is to learn it, and, much like linguistics, dealing with the arcane langauge of computer programs at a young age helps to retain mental acquity and plasticity. We can regain some of that, belying other helath problems, by forcing ourselves to think in different ways, such as learning new languages as an adult. There is ongoing research into regaining brain plasticity, along with other research into ageing and how to slow it down, or possibly even reverse it.
TBH even if Chip Chilla was a genuine attempt, the US has such a lack of parental guidance and a staggering amount of neglect. Most people don't know how to parent.
I'm 33 with no kids, and I love Bluey. I feel more prepared when I do have children because of this show. My parents were very reactive or just neglectful even if they didn't mean it... "Sleepy Time" hits me hard every time I watch it. My mom passed recently so rewatching "Sleepy Time" makes me think of her.
This show makes me cry. First episode had me in tears. I was half expecting Bandit to scold Bluey for doing something and he didn't; that just made me sob. Its such a great show and I appreciate they don't treat their audience like they're dumb. They respect their audience and it shows. And the ripoff is something the US is having issues with and, honestly, it scares me. They don't want the LGBTQIA+ community, they don't want to acknowledge metal illnesses, they don't want to acknowledge different ideals... it's just a mirror of the awful things happening here.
all bad people do there is factory reseting us basically making us start at zero not good for a world super power like us it's like they want their lives and their grand child to be terrible when their past ancestor literally try to make a better world for them
The episode you mention about telling the older sister not to snitch and only report nice things, coupled with secretary jokes and clear sexism, really feels like it telling young girls to keep quiet, maybe even if someone does something to them, and its so insanely gross
This show is stated to be “apolitical” by its creators over and over, and yet it has really quite painful double standards between the boys and the girls lol
@@ButterFlyGardenBlossom tbf, its Apolitical in a cultural norm sense, as in it fits right in any vague generic region with heavy emphasis on stereotypes of the sexes, like Latin America, Eastern Europe, or Asia. the double standards just don't work well anywhere else since Austrialia, Coastal USA, and UK are progressive countries/areas.
You are not making it out to be more impactful than it is, Bluey is amazing. Every time I watch it it elicits an emotional response. The characters are believable, you can feel the understanding of the human condition that the team has, and the love of the story they are trying to tell.
No they were just in the same episode. Matt talks about his only line which is one of the toys that not-bluey found. According to IMDB Buck Rabbit is voiced by John Bentley who has no other credits.
I love Bluey. It fills a void in my heart because my childhood was never something I want to remember… it gives me a chance to live out a better childhood through the characters. Copycats aren’t necessarily bad but they definitely lack the depth and sentimental value I haven’t seen this specific copycat show so I can’t say much on it
also…the creator of bluey occasionally sneaks in references to people they like such as vargskelethor, even had mock ups of cut references done too. The same cannot be said about that bootleg
I feel sorry for her listening to Chip Chilla the misogynistic undertones are so blatant. I hope she finds a show portraying equality in family life - like for example - Bluey!
@@phoebevaughan5095 I'm sure his children are forced to watch that boring and terrible show. Just the backrounds alone remind me of a blue dog show (Bluey, of course) with a billion characters that are funnier than the whole Chip Chilla family.
Funny thing is, I'm a conservative and I never saw anything "woke" about Bluey to begin with. It's just a wholesome show with wholesome characters, great storytelling, and great morals and imagination. It's a great show for families
Same I like bluey is awesome! I do have daily wire and I love the documents On it! And the shows too, I sadly only get to watch bluey when we’re on vacation because my parents don’t buy Disney, but it’s just a great show! I wish others would respect my opinion that I like daily wire though.
I think the most conservative value shown in ChipChilla only comes in comparison to Bluey. The children in Bluey are given a lot more agency to learn lessons and learn the meaning behind those lessons, while Chipchilla's child characters are just spoonfed lessons by their parents, or have the situations where they learn lessons be so overly controlled by their parents. In his own video, Saberspark compared 2 episodes. One is a Bluey episode where Bluey doesn't pick up her toys, so her father starts rewarding her to incentivise her to clean up. He eventually gets overwhelmed and burnt out trying to keep up with rewarding her, and while he's distressed, Bluey notices and decides to clean up without the expectation of a reward. This offers a dual lesson. Bluey and the children watching learn that your actions, even something as simple as cleaning up your toys, can have a positive or negative impact on other people's emotional well-being, and that you shouldn't do things just for a reward, but to be kind to others. Bluey's father and the parents learn that children have more emotional intelligence and more compassion than people usually give them credit for, and a rewards and/or punishments system of teaching and incentivising them isn't the perfect course. In the chipchilla episode, Chip's parents want him to clean up and they create this game where he's the Roman emperor and everyone else pretends to be barbarians, and they end up destroying his toys. This somehow makes him learn a lesson instead of upsetting him. This is conservative simply because conservatives often use a rewards and punishments style of parenting and blame any bad behavior a child has on "not spanking them hard enough." The idea that children are more capable and complex than we give them credit for is a more "liberal" stance. Bluey challenges our assumptions of what children are capable of. Chipchilla reassures parents that they were always right
This was really well said and a great observation. Childrens media it's their expertise in the first place to be fair. They're trying to push their product on parents who's trust they've earned by agreeing with them about political issues and make a quick buck off of them, nothing more. This happens with a lot of Christian media, (save for veggie tales, a delight) Growing up I was afraid of a Christian movie once because Jesus was acting mean in it. To my fire and brimstone dad, the problem wasn't a poorly made movie that makes kids afraid of Jesus, the problem was I must not be a good child if I was afraid of getting on Jesus's bad side. The movie wasn't for kids, it was for disconnected parents
Yes, because the moral was to clean up or we'll destroy the toys and clearly not to share the space you have and children can't have agency even though they do in Chip Chilla.
I think this just goes to show that the existence of Bluey is why I'll never be able to make a show made for kindergarteners. I simply cannot outdo Bluey. In fact, the one kids show I'm working on at the moment is more aimed towards middle schoolers, and the main character is a superhero who has a crush on a certain gentleman thief, so neither of them exactly have the best moral high ground. Although, now that I think about it, I could create a show that involves [CENSORED TO NOT SPOIL THE CONCEPT].
I don't think the take away should be that you can't outdo it, but more how creative and outside the norm it is much like alot of kids cartoons that go the extra mile in telling a story for kids.
I didn't think much about Bluey at first until I was at a friend's house. Their younger sister was watching Bluey, specifically the episode Turtleboy, and my ASL student brain had me do a double-take when I saw the other kid signing. I knew people were singing praises about Bluey, but I sure wasn't expecting a Deaf child to show up. I since have taken a bit more of an interest in Bluey content, and when it turns out they also end up covering religion and evolution in one episode with it STILL making since that's just amazing. Most shows split that up.
Yep, that made me shed a couple crocodile tears.. Deafness in a ''kids'' cartoon? Bluey is taking it's potential mark to a maximum I mean what the hell is fun in Crap-Chilla?
I can understand the issue with Disney, since I’ve even talked to members of the LGBTQ+ community who aren’t conservative at all agree that at this point, Disney’s just pandering in the cheapest ways possible. The representation doesn’t feel natural, it feels like they’re trying to grab any attention they can muster. I think The Owl House was able to break past that kind of corporate pandering, and their inclusion of LGBTQ+ felt much more natural imo, but there’s not a lot of other Disney properties with ‘representation’ that manages the same thing. But to call everything in our worldly society that’s even a little bit controversial ‘political’ drives me crazy.
American parent here and I love Bluey. It is by far the best show for families. I watch it with my young son, and we both lear from it. It makes me sick that someone copied it to try to sell its BS. I refuse to watch Chip Chilla. I will never let my kid watch it either. Thank you for your sacrifice watching it so I didn't have to. 😅
Chip Chilla has nothing to learn and tries to sell some bs: Chip stops some bullies, learns about fairness, makes cupcakes, learns about teamwork and learns to put a mile in someone else's shoes. The "leftist furry" who reviewed the show is dumb.
I have never seen Bluey, just know alot of my fellow furries have been talking about it/drawing their sonas in the Bluey style. Might have to watch it after this.
this show has been essential in me healing from losing my dad,it helps me remember and relive my better years, its left a huge impact on me when i really needed it
For context I am 30, and recently life has been a bit shit with quite a few shitty and stressful things all coming along at once, so I decided to give bluey a try cos I wanted something soft. I binged it for days, I have laughed and cried. It was the gentle low impact little thing I needed, but still kept me entertained.
I love Bluey not only because of how much it teaches you, but how I can connect every character to someone I know in real life or situations, also learning new ways to deal with problems I haven’t encountered yet in a correct way. This show has my heart, and I’m a teenager trying to make its way into adulthood and it has been a struggle honestly. Being able to relate to Bluey also helped me develop a much more closer relationship with my younger sister, who relates to bingo, and it makes me tear up thinking about all I missed as a young kid and how I could’ve made things better if I had seen this earlier. But I honestly believe that it came the right time in my life, and now it has become a very important part of me
As a musician, Bluey is single-handedly one of the best shows to incorporate music and being the punch to deliver the message and morale, even in its subtlety. And in case you're curious, the music in the "Sleepytime" episode is a creative and expertly crafted arrangement of Gustav Holst's The Planets, most notoriously Jupiter: The Bringer of Jolity.
Theres something sinister feeling about making the kid characters annoying and mean in a show made for kids that parents will also watch (like they did bluey). its almost like "hey this is you, youre annoying" and then reinforcing to the parents the weird conservative thought of your kids being a burden.
It helps that Daily Wire's content is behind a paywall. Why they think it's worth 100 USD a month is beyond me, though I guess no one else will host it.
Does anyone remember in 2015 when that one Chinese goat milk company made a bunch of characters that ripped off The Amazing World of Gumball, which eventually led to the creators of Gumball making an episode of the show that ends with the family of Chinese counterparts getting killed in an explosion? I know Bluey is a wholesome family show and all and doesn’t contain violence, but I wish the show could somehow incorporate those ugly, bratty chinchillas into an episode and give them a worthy punishment for being a pathetic ripoff. I’m not a fan of Bluey, but I am deeply fond of the show’s brilliant voice acting, beautiful 2D animation, smart writing, and the realistic characterizations and chemistries of its bright cast of characters. I know more adults than I do children that love the show, and the college I go to even started a Bluey club that has 20+ members. The same group of people that called Sesame Street propaganda for encouraging children to practice healthy habits during the pandemic and treat everyone with kindness should not be allowed to make content for children, let alone be in contact with them. People like Ben Shapeehole and Matt Walsh are dangerous, ironic, and arrogant people who have their heads lodged up their asses.
Most of the previous videos I watched covering the topic were done from the perspectives of people who were already Bluey fans, so I do appreciate seeing the topic covered from a different perspective and also you talking about Bluey and what makes it special for those who aren't familiar with the TV series! (1:33) I don't know why, but whenever I have a favourite character in a fiction media IP aimed at children, that character is usually one who's male and is an adult. As you likely had guessed, Bandit is my favourite Bluey character. (4:09) One of the things I like about Bluey is the art style. Sure, it's not my top favourite art style, but I like it because it's distinctively Bluey. That includes both the colour palettes and how the characters seem to be designed as cuboids. It's different from any US animated TV series I can think of that are aimed at the 5=9 year demographic, that's for sure (4:50) As someone who grew up in Singapore in the 2000s, watching lots of animated TV series that were created in the US gave me the impression that it was where most people in the world lived and it was the most popular and most ideal country. As a child, I wouldn't have known that it was a result of TV networks prioritising content from the US over those from other countries.
I mean this isnt the first time,Im sure you probably heard of the ripoff of the Amazing World of Gumball. it is called "The Copycat" fitting enough. I mean it is saying something when youre so popular they want to be you,but fail to grasp why it was popular.
Hey man! Just wanna say it’s nice to hear you talk about Bluey in the beginning, it’s obvious how much you love it and care for it. Would love to see you do more videos just talking about things you enjoy!
@sjwsmasher4398 Oh no how dare I tell someone to talk about things they like not hate 🤣 is this your hobby? Maybe try watching a good tv show, like Bluey! It may help you feel better 💖
I’ve only recently gotten into Bluey this past year, but I Love It! I wish I had a show like this when I was a Kid! It tackles real issues and actually addresses them in a more Natural way. Also I Love that you put Scenes from Lackadaisy in the beginning here! I’m a huge fan and it’s great too see the Pilot popping up more here and there, so Thank You for that! Your videos are always a treat to watch! Keep up the fantastic work Seal hun! And have a Wonderful day/night and stay safe out there! 💛😻💛😻💛😻💛
My only issue with the "representation" that Disney and other companies are putting into their media, is that more often than not it feels like they are just checking a box by adding a LGBT or other character, which makes them feel more like just a token or just pointless and one note. Like they are so focused on having to add "representation" instead of making compelling likeable characters. best way i can explain it for example is they are more interested in having a gay character instead of having an actual character that happens to be gay.
I was so engrossed in listening about how great bluey is how amazing the writing and characters are that I almost forgot the main topic of the video until you finally brought it up in 16:13
A few take-aways: 1. Never watched Bluey but I know it's huge with us Furries. 2. Hearing you describe episodes of Bluey, and the topics discussed, paired with the scenes from them made me tear up a few times. 3. Chip Chilla is just pathetic and made out of spite, and it shows. 4. For a 17 year old you definitely have an excellent command of thought and are wise beyond your years. Makes this old (40 years old) Furry hopeful for the future. Great content!
I wouldn't say out of spite... it's made because most content like what Chip Chilla is doing is made to rip off popular shows. Like, Chip Chilla is just a rip-off of Bluey, but conservative... another offering from The Daily Wire, Run Hide Fight, can quite literally just be described as Die Hard but with school shootings.
I’m Australian and that isn’t the only reason why I wanna watch Bluey. The main reason is because I’m a child that forgets I’m a child and I guess that’s related to some trauma, I don’t feel like a kid many times so when I watched one episode of Bluey I cried because I got reminded that I am a child. I haven’t cried because I’ve gotten reminded that I’m a child many times, fuck it’s under 5 times but Bluey was the first time I cried for that reason.
About homeschooling, my experience goes like this. First of all my mom is a "medium" conservative. I was put into homeschooling after having bad (Terrible) experiences with public school. I wont give all of the info though. I still might not have all of the info on what my mother was thinking so take it with some pink, Himalayan salt.
I used the episode camping to help my daughter get over missing a teacher of hers that moved to a different school. I find myself constantly quoting the episodes to help explain concepts about emotions to my daughter and since she's watched the episode she understands.
Bluey is one of those shows that is not just for kids. Seriously, theodd1sout made a whole thing about it. There's episodes about dark stuff that was SO dark it was removed from streaming, like an episode about Chile having a miscarriage??? Scary stuff for a show presenting as intended for kids.
The miscarriage was so heavily implied that children wouldn’t understand it. Even adults can watch and not realize that’s what it’s about, more of an easter egg for those who are fans and deeply analyze the show.
Bluey isn’t even that great of a show, all the children do is scream, and holler when they don’t get their way, muffin is a spoiled brat and you bluey fans enable her and call her iconic and amazing, but if Peppa Pig threw at least 1 tantrum like muffin you guys would blow your stack
not everyone that thinks bluey is great thinks that peppa pig is bad?@@iStanGwenTDI(also to claim bluey fans "enable" muffin is a joke, viewers can't "enable" animated characters?)
ive never seen a video of yours, but when u said your 17- im 17, we're both 17 but you are doing so well with life and im just watching your life (or opinions that i agree with). damn thats crazy fr. ur lucky :)
Hi 21 yr old here and I’ll say it’s not just nostalgia. Bluey is a series I continuously rewatch because of everything from the visuals and characters to the messaging. I was verbally abused as a child, couldn’t talk to my parents and ran away once I turned 18 when they essentially disowned me. My sibs recommended I watch this show and at first I was skeptical, like it couldn’t be as good as friendship is magic. But I was wrong. No it’s not as adventurous or larger than life but it is an amazing show and really helped to heal my inner child. Growing up with bad parents kinda warps your sense of how adults should be and what’s normal. But Bluey has helped show good examples of parent child relationships and family struggles. I don’t think anyone should be ashamed for watching this show and it really lives up to the hype.
"If there's an adult character in a piece of media that I find attractive I'm game." bro you must be my brother cause me and my dad have the same philosophy.
I mean, not every conservative family is like that, I understand that you might have some bad experiences with conservatives, but there are a lot of normal ones out there, not every one is a bad person
The people who wrote this show probably fall into the crowd who assume Bluey is a boy - that's not relevant but it's the vibes I get from their color direction lmao
Hey! I figure you may not read this, but in the event that you do, this is the first time your youtube content has popped up in my feed, and I genuinely really enjoyed this video! Your way of talking about Bluey was captivating, your voice is very soothing and entertaining at the same time to listen to, and for somebody who's still fairly young, you've got that good mixture of doing research for your video but also having a really good personal take as well, with clear passion! (I also adore your sona, haha). Keep up the amazing work, friend! You got yourself a new subscriber, definitely gonna binge some more of your videos now
The criticism directed at children's entertainment is something that is often directed at furry entertainment on this site. I know that furry entertainment is something that is just opening a box or a skit based around a fart / gross joke. There's some videos on this site that are based on queries that people are searching for but really the videos are filled with the content creator's opinion and it's very light on research or learning. It disappoints anyone trying to learn something but it convinced that person to click the video. It seems pretty sneaky all the time and that's why I avoided furry entertainment. There are channels I find are exceptions to this. Clappedseal puts some actual learned information on scripted videos. I knew that before watching this video. I knew Clappedseal would tell me what's going on with the difference between the children's entertainment Bluey vs Chip Chilla. Being around furries I had gotten a very clear message that furries are really into the show because of Bluey's dad. What was really mindblowing is that Bluey was revealed to be actually awesome. I'm interested in checking it out and it's not by the reason of one of the characters but that the show is probably something I can enjoy for the writing. I do like content on this site whether it's someone winging their video on camera without script or it's someone who makes a crafted script in advance. I've gained extra appreciation for how well Clappedseal does scripted videos. It's not easier or more difficult but it's just different style that different content creators tend to do better at. I believe some furry entertainment can be awesome when it's from a clip of working without a script. It only takes an idea and a few notes in advance and is really possible. But Clappedseal makes a case for how awesome scripted videos can be in furry entertainment. Thank you and I hope you channel impresses others as much as it did for me.
One of my earliest friendships was with someone who didn’t speak very much English we weren’t the closest or anything but I still think about them and how we communicated and stuff hope their okay 9:30
even a video essay about Bluey makes me tear up, i hold this show in a special place in my heart even as an adult. So many episodes have made me ugly cry and realize stuff i never got as a child or needed, EVERYONE could take at least 1 personal thing away from this show!
The only thing I can give Chip is that Chip and his siblings are pretty cute. If the colors were more interesting they would be pretty good designs. The ears and tails have personality. They deserve a better show. Chinchillas are an adorable animal that kids cartoons haven't used to their full potential. But please, keep them far away from the likes of Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh
Clappedseal, this analysis is bittersweet. As you are younger then myself. I lost my mother at 18. It fucked me up, a lot. Really cherish them, even if they aren't the best. You can't fix your relationship if they're gone. Obviously within reason, lol. Just don't be distant to loving parents. They won't be there forever and when they're gone, you can't hear their advice for your struggles
blue covers such serious topics in fun ways, encourages many good things, has impeccable storylines and writing, represents things like ADHD and deafness, and more all in such a beautiful art style! then things like chip chilla exist
Yeah lol, then it will make you appreciate the quality time spent with family and show you how important and fulfilling this time is, it will make you want to create a family of your own and it will show you how. Bluey is on another level
I do have to say, I'm a pan nonbinary person, and I really don't like the way Disney, marvel and couple other companies represent the lgbtq, it feels like the design the characters to be gay just to sell more copies, get headlines etc. It just makes me upset since it's like, were normal humans too, not a marketing tool
The fact chip chilla is made with anti "woke" things in mind is really stupid to me, and since that's the ONLY intention the show makes. It comes off as cheap, rushed, and un-inspired in the final product with no soul or passion
As someone who lives in Brisbane, its so cool seeing parts of bluey and recognising those areas. Bluey is just generally a great show that kids and grownups alike can sit down and enjoy.
Il bluey and istg I've tried so hard to watch it but everytime I keep on bawling and I just can't continue LIKE DAMN PEOPLE HAVE HAPPY LIVES???(cannot relate.) The art is so so beautiful in bluey. Also that kidnapping shit, as a woman NOAR. Putting somthing out there with such a harmful message is a big no. They're so mad that gay people exist and are regular people (it's the end of the world oh no) but then they think that it's a good idea to turn around and promote something that could result in rape, murder, abuction, sexual assult, human trafficing, and way more. TO KIDS, the very people they constantly use as a sheild and main talking point to lessen representation for people who are just excisting. These are the very same pl that say "b-b-but we're protecting the kids*proceeds to be homophobic and push senario's that could result in crimes to a child audience.*"

Are we sure there’s nothing shady about the daily wire ? The way that clip showed..there’s something really ominous and very creepy about it..mostly Ben Shapiro for instance..I don’t really trust that dude.

@@junkers3824 they wanted to include matt walsh's very questionable hobbies :)
Yeah they unironically get pissed off when you teach kids about consent. This is something they'd be fine with.
Good vid. :3
The fact your triggered over a copied concept is fucking hilarious.
Same here! Legit I forgot this was about a different show and I was enjoying the Bluey love letter 😅
@@yoot3008
You don't think conservatives view selfishness as a good thing?
@@gotabeta3847 honestly yeah i am one of those kids i learn that these aren't normal so instead I try to be a good person in generl

To quote the Bluey episode 'Chest,'
"Work on their heads later, for now, just hearts."
This quote truly encapsulates what makes Bluey special, to me personally.
What's wrong with teaching kids basic educational stuff? Stuff like that is just as important as social lessons.
My astonishment that he's 17 is not going away soon. He's gotten concepts that seem to be missed by many 30+.

@@BlackPineNJHow is that a problem? Men and women are different biologically. Are you seriously triggered by eyelashes?
@@QuillStroke It's not that, it's that they purposefully made it as a gender differentiation design since "pink = girl and blue = boy" in chip chilla. in bluey you never see blatant gendering of boy and girl, some people even confuse bluey for a boy or bingo for a boy and that's good design since you aren't visually told they're girls because they have eyelashes and skirts or they're boys because they wear jackets/shirts

@@rredy it was barred from release, forgot the name though.
This happens with a lot of Christian media, (save for veggie tales, a delight)
Growing up I was afraid of a Christian movie once because Jesus was acting mean in it. To my fire and brimstone dad, the problem wasn't a poorly made movie that makes kids afraid of Jesus, the problem was I must not be a good child if I was afraid of getting on Jesus's bad side. The movie wasn't for kids, it was for disconnected parents
Apparently it's "woke" to think children have brains.
Yes, because the moral was to clean up or we'll destroy the toys and clearly not to share the space you have and children can't have agency even though they do in Chip Chilla.
Meanwhile I just want to homeschool my kids because buying a bullet proof backpack for a five year old is a bit grim
Honestly I can’t wait to see it my man
I hope you succeed in your animation endeavors

@sjwsmasher4398 Wtf are you doing here with a username like that? What bridge do you come from?
the inside vs outside voice is something I feel as an autistic person who is a chronic people pleaser I wanna say no but I always say yes
Relatable
Even fellow conservatives think Chip Chilla is soulless drivel.
Your content is always S tier. And wait you’re only 17?? You’ve got loads of potential in your life
Most of the previous videos I watched covering the topic were done from the perspectives of people who were already Bluey fans, so I do appreciate seeing the topic covered from a different perspective and also you talking about Bluey and what makes it special for those who aren't familiar with the TV series!
It's different from any US animated TV series I can think of that are aimed at the 5=9 year demographic, that's for sure
(4:50) As someone who grew up in Singapore in the 2000s, watching lots of animated TV series that were created in the US gave me the impression that it was where most people in the world lived and it was the most popular and most ideal country. As a child, I wouldn't have known that it was a result of TV networks prioritising content from the US over those from other countries.
Would bluey be a good watch for someone coming to terms with the fact they grew up in care?
It's probably a good watch for anyone.
your gonna cry more than usual
I cant believe his name is actually jeremy boring
I mean this isnt the first time,Im sure you probably heard of the ripoff of the Amazing World of Gumball. it is called "The Copycat" fitting enough. I mean it is saying something when youre so popular they want to be you,but fail to grasp why it was popular.
i COMPLETELY forgot i clicked on a "bluey vs chip chilla" video bc i was just so focused on bluey i forgot the latter exists.
That rabbit made me think the snotty brat was gonna get S/A'd- LiKE COULD THEY HAVE NOT BEEN THAT CREEPY ABOUT THE VOiCELiNES?? 😭
FR?????
@@SAt0_loVes_Wist3riA yeah 😭
I was so engrossed in listening about how great bluey is how amazing the writing and characters are that I almost forgot the main topic of the video until you finally brought it up in 16:13
A few take-aways:
I have no hope for the future with dumb "leftist furries" like him.
Bluey isn’t even that great of a show, all the children do is scream, and holler when they don’t get their way, muffin is a spoiled brat and you bluey fans enable her and call her iconic and amazing, but if Peppa Pig threw at least 1 tantrum like muffin you guys would blow your stack
not everyone that thinks bluey is great thinks that peppa pig is bad?@@iStanGwenTDI(also to claim bluey fans "enable" muffin is a joke, viewers can't "enable" animated characters?)
ive never seen a video of yours, but when u said your 17- im 17, we're both 17 but you are doing so well with life and im just watching your life (or opinions that i agree with). damn thats crazy fr. ur lucky :)
This ripoff is useless, I hate to use that word, but it tries to be the "non-woke Bluey", but Bluey is just the most centrist show imaginable lol
You went through so much bluey that I thought this was a review on Bluey at first and then I remembered what the title was
Hi 21 yr old here and I’ll say it’s not just nostalgia. I don’t think anyone should be ashamed for watching this show and it really lives up to the hype.
i just would like to note that i made an IMDb account after watching this video just to rate Chip Chilla two stars.
C'mon dude, you're better than this😞
"If there's an adult character in a piece of media that I find attractive I'm game." bro you must be my brother cause me and my dad have the same philosophy.
25:40 just as the guy said "listen to this" an ad started. such convenience
A funny inconvenience
I enjoy bluey very much, the show is like a breath of fresh air.
"Incompetent and negligent parents"
What a good summarize of a conservative family lol
@sjwsmasher4398 whatever you say absent parents weirdo
I mean, not every conservative family is like that, I understand that you might have some bad experiences with conservatives, but there are a lot of normal ones out there, not every one is a bad person
@@rredy i haven't had any bad experience xd
@@hedgehogpower194 well then why did you say that conservative parents are incompetent lol
@@rredy because it's a meme
Laugh or go to hell buddy
"We're doing this without politics" And they've already failed at the starting line.
Wow these chinchillas parents are so neglectful they make Caillou’s parents look like the Mona Lisa
I genuinely crying after you told the story of the episode sleepytime, that episode and many others from Bluey are just so good.
The people who wrote this show probably fall into the crowd who assume Bluey is a boy - that's not relevant but it's the vibes I get from their color direction lmao
@sjwsmasher4398 bro that's so mid 2010s
You got yourself a new subscriber, definitely gonna binge some more of your videos now
bro i've watched you for ages and it never occured to me we're from the same country, good shit coming from New Zealand man, keep it up.
Thank you for recognizing its personal taste. Soooo many "critics" can't tell the difference
One of my earliest friendships was with someone who didn’t speak very much English we weren’t the closest or anything but I still think about them and how we communicated and stuff hope their okay 9:30
"Consertive" is the wrong word to use in the title
even a video essay about Bluey makes me tear up, i hold this show in a special place in my heart even as an adult.
I was legit considering just giving a try until I learned who made this and now I hate them for using cute chinchilla's for their grifting.
There's an old joke with many variations about conservative media. "There are only two genders: Male, and Political."
I wonder if there's enough proof for Ludo to confidently take them to court
omg I was so emotionally invested in the first half of the vid I completely forgot what it was about and got jumpscared by the tone shift lol
Bluey is on another level
you couldn't have put it un a better way@@rredy
I do have to say, I'm a pan nonbinary person, and I really don't like the way Disney, marvel and couple other companies represent the lgbtq, it feels like the design the characters to be gay just to sell more copies, get headlines etc. It just makes me upset since it's like, were normal humans too, not a marketing tool
The fact chip chilla is made with anti "woke" things in mind is really stupid to me, and since that's the ONLY intention the show makes. It comes off as cheap, rushed, and un-inspired in the final product with no soul or passion
Bluey isn’t even “woke licker-ball propaganda”??
I keep hearing from parents and furries alike that Bluey is awesome, some day I'll have to give it a go.
