I wasn't thrilled to see a few typos in the subtitles, and the translation for one part seemed different from the Amazon streaming subtitles I saw before, but overall it looked and sounded great, so im still satisfied. I am still curious why Mill Creek didn't have distribution rights for this film, but they have been confusing me for a couple years now, so not that surprising

Little late to comment, but I just wanted to say thank you for helping me out on deciding if I wanted to purchase this. away my old Cleopatra release because this one is coming in the mail for me very soon. Almost no reason at all to keep that version when this one both video and packaging wise looks better and has the correct subtitles and special features.

Hey I recently bought the raven banner release and I noticed something odd. At about 0:32:50 they censored a curse word. Like a full on bleep sound effect was added like on a tv show. Is that on your copy of the film (either Raven Banner or Cleopatra) or do I have a defective disk or something?

That is on all versions of the movie. It was an intentional choice by the filmmakers!

The only issue I haven with the Raven Banner release is that I can't import it since their website doesn't do shipping here in the Philippines, and I don't see their stuff on Amazon.

I’m really not sure. It’s definitely a PG movie so idk why the rating on the disc is so high

There are some rather explicit trailers on the disc, which could bump up the rating of the release even though the movie itself is tame. Media Blasters got in trouble a few years back with their Gappa release having some other Tokyo Shock trailers on it that upset parents, so there is a precedent to avoid there.

A greatly improved release that finally has lossless audio, but still missing the Atmos track (which is found on the Japanese releases). Fuck lossy audio, which kills Cleopatra’s release outright by definition of the format.

My guess as to why the Atmos track isn’t present has to do with Toho/The Exchange not providing it. Was glad to see Raven Banner has the lossless audio!
