How did you like Donk Orleone’s video? What exploitative topics would you like to see covered next?

Love all your videos! I would love to see a video on multiway pots OOP as the PFR, it's so hard to study these spots and i feel like the high flop check % is leaving a lot of BB on the table at lower stacks.

    This video is gold.
I always made assumptions about aggressive opponents and I thought calling more marginal hands was a good exploit, only to fold them to turn or river bets and my red line went to shit. I will try to adjust in a better way.

It would be interesting to see the heuristics change based on how many players in the pot

I have been playing poker for a few years now, and have always been profitable with my reads at live tables. However online I struggle more, which is why I have been trying to research and understand more about the GTO way of playing, but a lot of these videos just aren't making much sense to me, I understand it's probably difficult for everyone starting off which is why most poker players aren't professionals. Does anyone have any advice on trying to make more sense of videos like these?

Hey Dewz, I was in your situation around a year ago and started studying GTO. My best bet is to get a GTOwizard subscription and go through their study plans they will explain everything from the ground up. This video is for exploits so quite high level.

This advice might be super basic, but try watching videos made by other channels. Other ppl will explain the same concepts differently, and some explanations might resonate with you more than others. Jonathan Little has beginner-friendly content. Also I like Finding Equilibrium, bencb, stephen sontheimer, peter clarke, and uri peleg.
imo this video overcomplicates things by using terms like 'setup exploit' and 'punish exploit'. The main idea really is "how do we adjust to opponent's tendencies?", keeping in mind that our adjustments can happen at any point in the hand (e.g., on the flop, on the turn, or even preflop). Try asking yourself a question, e.g. "if my opponent is too passive, how should i respond on the flop?", and try to come up w some answers yourself before looking at a solver. imo an answer like "I should bet my good hands more often" is better than "I should bet 20% more often". You can use the solver to check your thinking. But I don't recommend going in the solver without a question in mind -- you'll likely get lost. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the constructive comment. I think that you're missing a nunace in my differentiation between the two types of exploits. It's not just about how to adjust on flop or turn vs a passive opponent, it's about making sure you look ahead from previous nodes before the mistake even happens, and also about making sure you keep track of your opponent's range after your initial adjustment.
The two types of exploits are also estimating EVs using different variables, in one case, the main variable is future betting volume, in the other case it's past range construction.
I will grant you, this video is mostly explained in abstract terms that assume a lot of previous knowledge a lot of people don't have, like, for instance, thinking in terms of frequencies when what really matters is what you do with each hand individually.
I will try to add more of this context in the future, specially when I'm making more long form content. This video has a longer version for subscriptors that hopefully takes enough baby steps to make everything more clear@@antonsergheiciuc4666

Hi, could you guys make a video about gto stats?, so we could know more easily when the oponent is deviating too much?, for example, gto cbet% is 50%, if the oponent has 30 or 70 we could adjust for sure, would help really a lot a video showing every single gto stat, just so we can have a base .

    • @GTOWizard

That's on our roadmap. We plan to create GTO Reports that outline all the major stats in a game theory optimal strategy, and allow users to compare their play to these stats. The ETA is early to mid 2024.
