    The 100% System Buster has really enhanced my learning as a student online about Kaizen and Lean concepts. I am on-board with why it is important to change to keep the customer happy.

    Beginning a new process by developing a manual forms the foundation for the new system as this serves as the guide that everyone will go by.

    nice video. The main principle is that establish the right "process“, such as a routine checklist.

      Correct implementation of 5S is a systemic cultural change. With 5S the
      onus is on everyone to keep the workplace clean, tidy and efficient; the
      efficiency is a natural product of keeping everything you need close at
      hand (seeing immediately that something is not where it should be, i.e.
      a tool board), minimising time wastage and improving lead time.
      Improved safety is a product of 5S; reduced risk of trips and slips and
      falls by not leaving things lying around. 5S is a key component of the
      JIT model.

    Do the employees get paid more for doing more work with less people?

    • @riboid
      @riboid 9 лет назад +3

      It is not about doing more work. The systems in place ensure they are more productive, which means they're output could be more with even less work.

      But if the company doesn't even have the orders, and there is no demand, then some bigger trouble is happening. Usually the beginning of the end..
