We drive the 2020 Volkswagen Polo which now comes with a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine. This is a 3-cylinder unit making 110 PS and 175 Nm. The Polo has always been known for its build quality and the fun to drive characteristics and this combo of a TSI engine with a manual transmission is a delight to drive.

Rapid due to more space
Both are different , one is hatchback and another is sedan . I will choose Polo TSI to give it beans !!!!!

VW Polo has Timeless Design. That's why it never look outdated especially on the outside.
Not really put next to any new car and it will definitely show it's age

There was no need of 3rd gear
You can push it to 100 in 2nd gear and time will be around 8.7 sec
I tested with mine

They are using vbox not speedometer reading 😂

Tall 2nd gear but also powerful is what is this engine’s speciality.🚀🚀

Best hatchback for enthusiasts.👍. It just lacks 4-5 (non-essential) features but it has the best engine.
It lacks rear seat space. If it had more space in the rear seats, then t is a perfect car

@@mandarkerkar2581 figo and freestyle diesel are good. A d there is no competion for them as vw and lot of other manufactures have discontiuned diesel below 10 lakhs cars.
Even the ford diesel will be phased out with the bs6 stage 2 eminnsion norms coming in 2023 .
But the ford diesel engine is a very good option with freestyle and figo
Figo and free style lack the build quality and fit and finish of the polo though

I believe Figo TDCi is quicker than Polo TSi.
Figo such a great car for its excellent ride and handling and it's fun and frugal diesel engine.

i have driven older polo with 1.2L petrol engine and 1.5 L diesel engine. I really love driving manners of the polo it is super stable at highspeeds . It is a brilliant car but vw should get the latest polo now

That V Box numbers were in a slippery and moist situation but on dry days it will deliver the 100 mark in undet 10s
The low end lag causes the car to have a bit slower in gear acceleration

India is lucky to have a hatch like POLO among wafers like Swift/Baleno/i20, atleast something is there for enthusiasts & quality lovers. Not to mention, other hatchbcks have scored only 2 or 3 stars.
Only car that comes close to Polo in build quality is Tata Altroz.
Altroz build quality is way better than polo, polo feels light and unstable compared to altroz?..
Abroad, Polo is also offered with a 2.0 TSI !

Very fastest car in the segment it looks like! Faisal states it is marking 200kmph in speedo. Is it really an 1.0 litre engine? 1.2 ltr tsi used to touch less than 195kmph only
This is the best car that money can buy right now!! Mine is a 1.2, trust me, nothing comes close to this. Don't compare Korean and local cars with this German masterpiece!!

It's high time we need MQB Platform Next Generation Volkswagen Polo in order to continue its rivarly in premium Hatchback segment space
That's not possible..... To get European polo to India.... Because of heavy duty taxes and its length is more than 4m

@@AbhijeetGawas Wheelbase of a car determines the type of rear seating space. The ratio of wheelbase to overall length of facelift is much superior to what it is now. If VW makes it a sub 4m car, it will have almost same wheelbase as new i20, Baleno or Altroz so it can match the competition in terms of rear seating space

Tdi is not the powerful engine in its segment but tsi is powerful compare to its revival

But Abarth Punto had most powerful Petrol Engine with 145Hp

why arent they offering the new gen in india... every year providing the same car with changing headlights only.....still looks the same from inside and outside as it was years ago
I really despise VW for dragging all these models way past their expiration date. It is good car...agreed, but one look at the competitors and how they have upped their game, it is not a sensible option anymore.
Polo is the fastest hatchback but the rear seat is not comfortable

New biscuits in same old wrapping cover. That is the only point which people hate. People always want to flaunt their rides and if VW is offering the same design which is ages old, the Indian market will not welcome. For example, just think about Maruti Suzuki Swift if they were offering latest 1.0 turbo Petrol engine in first-generation Swift and launched for 2020. Does that look good? Definitely not!

Do not buy this vehicle is not good and it uses a lot of fuel and its benefits are not good. It is better any brand from South Korea or Japan with a better price and much better features and in the dealers they serve you better. To buy a vehicle in India it is better TATA national product and not German.
