You got me teary eyed at the part with Yaeli sharing how she was a mess the first year. I come from a home where my parents used to fight all the time, there was never a quiet moment. The first few yrs I didn't trust my husband at all and kept pushing him away. He was so super patient with me and now I can finally reciprocate his kindness. People don't realize how children from abusive homes are effected, even if they weren't necessarily the victims of the abuse and even if they are officially happily married. Emotional issues are real beneath that smiling facade Thanks for validating
Takes allot of bravery for this couple to come on and disclose all this private stuff. I truly believe they did this interview to help others. GD bless you for your strength !
This episode should bring true feelings of hope to every married man and woman as well as not yet married man and woman as it has for me. Thank you SOH!
What an insightful episode! Tzipora has a true talent of answering the right responses and asking questions in the right way. She allows the guests to share their stories while validating them and asking the questions we're all thinking. Thank you!
I love when nesanel said that it’s not about the event that happens that impacts you , it’s your perception of that event that makes the impact. I think that was so meaningful and true !!❤ also when they said you can’t go around or over something , you must go through it💯💯
I love all your stories!! Being divorced 13 years, I'm still praying I find my basheret. Yaeli is a very honest person and thank you for sharing your journey. Every story is more inspiring than the next!!! I share with all my divorced friends and we appreciate all the chizuk !!! Can't wait for more episodes!!
Knocked it out of the park once again! Amazing job Tzipora. You must be an outstanding therapist. You are a good listener and ask insightful follow ups
I so enjoy Tziporah's interview skills, care and connection with her interviewees. As one who enjoys interviewing people, she has an amazing skill and talent in bringing out the best in people and highlighting what the listening audience may benefit from. Truly gifted. The people she chooses to interview sheds a different light for me on religious Jews, their joys, struggles and challenges. . As a conservative Jew I am learning so much and am very grateful for your offerings.
I know of both these people, so it’s nice to hear their story. Yaeli is a talented artist and nesanel is a baal tzedaka . Thanks tziporah for another episode. 👏
This was a wonderful conversation and a wake up call to all the ideas that I have in my head for the future. After 4.5 years of being a widower, this conversation added a little more insight into things that I need to do for the next adventure. this program adds a lot of good ideas and insights into marriage and dating even to the non frum community.
I've been married for 18 years and watching the SOH podcasts really brings me back to when I was young....there really is an excitement to that time, as well as stresses, but I just love how this podcast transports me back to the beginning:)
I loved how refreshing this podcast is. So real and authentic. Really gives hope when it seems like a superficial world that people stick true to their values and are trying to keep authenticity alive!
I look forward to Stories of Hope every Sunday! Every story brings a different flavor of inspiration. Thank you Tziporah for taking the time to do these important podcasts every Sunday :)
Who needs music while driving to work when you can listen to Tziporah’s podcasts!!!! Haha ….. p.s Tziporah I love your voice. It’s like music to my ears lol do u by any chance sing?!?!!!?
This story of hope made me feel like being honest and real about your experiences and feelings doesn’t make you prone to judgement, but rather worthy of more respect and more relatable. As a divorcee, Vogels story made me feel hopeful about how wonderful spouse can be despite adversity.
I think that what Yaeli is talking about in the beginning about looking for a good frum “yeshiva” boy has gotten so much better. I had the same issue, I never wanted someone in learning, I was a “good girl” and people were sooo shocked. I feel like girls now have it much easier I feel like the push for kollel has gotten much less pressure than it was when I was in shidduchim! (15 years ago) Yes! People should not focus on money rather middos are key! Thanks for this episode yaeli and nesanel are such a beautiful couple you can really see how much they respect each other! Thanks for sharing!
Love Stories of Hope and look forward to tuning in on Sunday nights. Love how you are bringing real people and real stories for all of us to connect to. This week it was great to hear about some of the difficulties of marriage and how to navigate through those difficulties. Kudos to Meaningful Minute and Tzipporah!
I absolutely love the stories of hope podcasts! Literally look forward to it every week. It provides so much hope & chizuk and makes you realize that you're not alone! This week's episode was especially amazing! So authentic, and inspiring! So much to learn from this!
Thank you for this podcast. As a girl in shidduchim this podcast has given me hope that at the right time i'll meet The One! It also taught me to keep an open mind because my bashert can be anyone! Thank you!
Stories of hope shares so much knowledge, inspiration and warmth! Everyone must listen in! It’s like a virtual community! And everyone, no matter who, no matter where, can learn so much depth! Thank you SOH!
Tzipora you are amazing. Thank you for sharing these stories, for spreading hope and awareness, and for increasing sensitivity across our communities. You are so brave and inspiring!
This podcast is exactly how the title describes. It provides comfort, it strengthens belief, and of course, it reminds us to never give up hope. Thank you for creating a platform for us all to gain from as we navigate what we, on our own personal levels, can change in order to improve the societal view on shidduchim, singles, and even married life!
The name of her podcast perfectly captures what it's all about. It brings hope to our community and has made a positive impact on society. Through it, we can see just how much progress we're making, focusing on people's strengths and finding ways to support one another.
Wow Tziporah, another amazing, phenomenal podcast! The strength to choose to love each other everyday is so powerful! Love the stories of meeting the bashert (speaks to my stage at the moment) really appreciate seeing this couple, make it through!
There was a part where they were saying know what YOU want and how everyone will have there own opinions but you should just follow your dreams and that the answer is inside within you! Wow definitely needed that tysm for all these podcasts they’re truly amazing and helpful in so many ways!❤️❤️
What a fantastic episode, and such an important conversation! Stories of Hope provides great perspective, encouragement, and food for thought! Thank you!
This podcast Makes me love and appreciate my husband more reminds me why I married him and makes me grateful for my own path and story when marriage comes along there is so much you forget with bumps in the road it’s always good to think back and appreciate your journey
So many important topics in this episode! Loved every second. Was so raw and real…Was at the edge of my seat during my 4 hour trip from Nj to Maryland.
Tzipora, you did it again. Wonderful example to focus on.Rav Nachman Bulman ztl, tried building a community based on everything you have been focusing on. Not everyone can stay in Kolel. But he managed to guide the community (Migdal haemek)in a Yeshivish mined set. And I've heard that he shared ideas with Rav Leff shlitah when he started building Moshav Matisyahu.
If you have any friends struggling in their marriage. The best chizuk I found is to show them that they are both working on making it work. And that is going to help them keep their marriage. Because they will realize that they are in a normal marriage. I've had friends thank me. Because it took off the pressure thinking they were going to lose each other
I love the amazing honest conversations which make people think different about marraige and shidduchim! It makes people realise its not always rainbows and butterflies but it can be even more beautiful!
I love how calming it is knowing I'm not alone in the dating process, how there are many others who need help as well. Thanks Tzipora for this awesome podcast and how I can always learn something new.
Nice podcast! Thanks for sharing your story! Rabbeim advising bochurim on dates should not be telling them to make a decision based on having a good time and attraction alone. This is a pitfall for many. They need to sit down with the Bochur and discuss the things that might be bothering him, their points of differences and try to work it out before entering into a marriage. Marriage doesn’t solve problems, it magnifies it. The more time you figure things out before the better marriage you will have. Take the time to do it.
Wow what a beautiful episode! I appreciate the transparency of how one needs to keep working on their communication and marriage. We are in this world to keep working on ourselves. Thank you for sharing this episode with us
I love THIS podcast! All the SOH episodes truly inspire me and make me feel grateful to be part of such a thoughtful and amazing Jewish community. Thank you for sharing such insightful stories!!
I find it funny how at (30min) she said she liked that they shared the same background of coming from divorced homes bc they understand eachother when that's not what she originally wanted. I also come from a divorced home and remember my husband was embarrassed to talk about his parents when we were dating since they had a healthy relationship. He didn't want me to feel bad that he had a good upbringing. I thought he was crazy! Dating was not a fun road. I also totally agree (at the 40min) that ppl need to go through the hardships together in order to grow. That's what builds the relationship stronger without a doubt. It's totally normal to feel nervous or unsure in the beginning no matter where u come from. Also a huge fan of a premarriage counselling. I was never big on therapy, still not big on it, but definitely changed our relationship. So nice to see understanding
My favorite podcast! I eagerly anticipate Sunday nights for new episodes. It really does give hope! And it's also very instructive, especially this episode. Must hear for everyone, whether single or not. Thank you Tzipora for being a trailblazer ❤
Such an amazing insightful episode into what a healthy marriage should look like. It’s a roller coaster with his ups and downs, and everyone can benefit from listening to this!
I found this episode so important! I give courses to dating girls on tools and hashkafa for marriage and make sure to teach that marriage, especially the first year is hard! You and your spouse are not perfect and it takes commitment and work to be successful! So glad this was discussed!
Such important messages as always! We focus a lot in the frum world on getting married, but sometimes miss the more important goal of staying married. In general we often falsely glorify the idea that the right person will just know how to love us and meet our emotional needs without us ever voicing them. In truth no one is a mind reader and good relationships come from clear and effective communication (and often a decent amount of work). Thank you for tackling this important topic and opening the conversation!
Love listening to your podcast when I get the opportunity. It is always amazing to hear from people who I see on Instagram but don't actually know them personally and it really helps to see that other people also live through things and are able to grow from them.
I look forward to each of your Stories of Hope. I’m married bh for 42 yrs and would have loved to watch your stories years ago. I share it with my daughters who enjoy it too. BTW one of my daughters knows who you are. You are so good at interviewing and getting each side to speak. I believe the stories are ageless. The last episode is so helpful for a world that doesn’t work hard enough to keep their marriages when there are problems and just fly out of their marriages. Esther Pollak
Thank you for sharing this inspirational experience. It is all too common people come from divorced homes. Sometimes multiple times or multigenerations. They can also have happy marriages too!
Love the concept of this podcast. Also think the Tziporah is a fantastic host/interviewer. She lets people talk and share without interrupting and asks relevant and insightful questions
So many great topics in this episode! Thanks for always finding amazing people to talk to. Finding the right therapist is sooo important. But once you do your life can be epic. ❤
Thank you for inspiring us with this spin on your podcast. Your positivity and smarts, with the Vogel's authenticity and wisdom bright light and inspiration. Thank You!
Thank you so much for this beautiful, incredible episode! It was very much needed! I've been married for 20 years and learned so much from this podcast! Great job👏
Wow! So beautiful and authentic! I’ve had my fair share of dating episodes throughout the years but marriage was a whole new ballgame! You can’t just go home and give a no… u gotta face the music and really work on yourself cuz usually they got a point. I love this podcast and definitely related to a lot Yaeli and nesanel discussed. Thanks again for SOH it’s so empowering
Wow I so appreciated Yaeli and Nesanels honesty and openness! As an “older single” that comes from a divorced home.. this really was very inspiring and gives me hope that it is possible and can really be beautiful to iyH find someone that will be open to grow and work through marriage and life together! :) I wanted to bring up an important point.. I’ve always learned in school, seminaries, speeches & in books how marriage isn’t a walk in the park and it’s hard work… but unfortunately coming from broken homes we don’t get to see the normal, healthy, beautiful parts of marriage. I really think we need to make that more normalize talking about the goood parts of marriage as well and making it ok to show some form of affection (I mean in a normal affectionate way.. talking, smiling, holding hands, praising ect) and talk abt how marriage is beautiful as well! Believe me weee knowww that relationships aren’t perfect but what we need to learn is how it is also beautiful. Anyway done with my rant! 😂 Thank u sm Tzipora my family and I are really loving these SOH podcasts!Keep doing what ur doing bc You’re changing the world one step at a time! 💗 😊
At the splitting of the sea, when the Jews crossed after leaving Egypt, the sea divided into 12 sections. The walls of the sea were clear, symbolizing that while each group traveled through a different path, they could all see each other. This showed that although we may take different journeys, we all ultimately reach the same destination with the same goal.
I love this podcast!!! I wait each week for this breath of fresh air and beautiful inspiration! This podcast makes me feel the hope that everyone can find their happiness with hashems help one day. So many struggle but it’s so comforting to know that there are others out there who have overcome and are on the other side of it all. Thank you for this beautiful project debunking all the crazy notions people carry and really breaking barriers to help so many find their other half!! Loving each n every episode! Keep ‘em coming!!
Did I mention I look out for the next episode every week hoping it will come sooner….. I can’t sleep till I finish an episode bec I have to hear the ending!! lol Ty for this episode bec we all need to hear this… we all go through stuff and we’re are not the only one trying to navigate. This week is so important!!! Thank you for starting the conversation!!! Sending love!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I love Stories of hope I look forward to it every week. This episode and all episodes are mind blowing 🤯. Love what you do Tzipora. Wish we can be friends!!
Really great stuff. When we were engaged, my wife and I listened to Rabbi Klatzko’s 10 rules of marriage shiur together. We then discussed it and came up with our own 10 rules for our marriage. One specific thing that we discussed, which actually relates to more than one of our rules, is how much we despise marriage “jokes.” There are lighthearted exceptions, of course, but we both believe that, in general, these “jokes” that are thrown around- even by otherwise respectable people- are extremely destructive to marriages, both on an individual and societal level. Anyway, keep doing what you’re doing, good stuff! We’d totally come on the podcast, but baruch Hashem I don’t think we have enough of a story to justify it 😆
Listening from lakewood :) Its so refreshing for ppl to be open and honest because Shana 1 is prob the most difficult year for many and no one discusses the real things that go on then…

Whoa! Loved this one. I would watch a whole season of episodes similar to this, where we get to see hope and struggle within the marriage itself.

It’s been really refreshing to see these conversations come to light. Thank you Tzipora for speaking up about taboo issues in our community.❤

Always validating to hear how that start to life in another country affects others as well. This podcast truly inspires me! Thank you Tzipora!

The podcast makes me feel hopeful for the singles in my life
This was a great episode! I loved the honesty and how open they were in how marriage isn't perfect and in every marriage there are struggles! Wow!

Very refreshing. Love hearing these stories even though I'm a Bubby already.
I find it funny how at (30min) she said she liked that they shared the same background of coming from divorced homes bc they understand eachother when that's not what she originally wanted. Such a relatable episode!!
I am really enjoying this podcast..... so much of what our generation is thinking is finally being spoken outloud!

Thank you so much for interviewing the Vogel's. I'm so moved by their journey.

Wow! So beautiful and authentic! I’ve had my fair share of dating episodes throughout the years but marriage was a whole new ballgame! As an “older single” that comes from a divorced home.. this really was very inspiring and gives me hope that it is possible and can really be beautiful to iyH find someone that will be open to grow and work through marriage and life together! :)
I wanted to bring up an important point..

We’d totally come on the podcast, but baruch Hashem I don’t think we have enough of a story to justify it 😆
what kind of "jokes"? please give an example(s). thanks
This clip is so full of love and peace❤ I wish this on all the singles!
Love the topics and it makes me feel hopeful for the young generation
I really like what Yaeli told her husband when they were dating that whatever you do, you should be the best at that, this is a great idea!
What an amazing episode! Love the honesty and bravery.

Wow Tziporah thank you for all that you do!
Listening from lakewood :) Its so refreshing for ppl to be open and honest because Shana 1 is prob the most difficult year for many and no one discusses the real things that go on then…
I love how inspiring and real the stories of hope are!
