I picked up the "Masterpiece Guitars" CD about 10 years ago. I've been a Yes fan forever, mostly cause of Steve Howe's guitar work, and this CD shows just how excellent and varied Steve's, as well as Martin's, guitarmanship really is. !
This has everything you need to hear about guitars.

I bought 'Masterpiece Guitars" when it was first released, absolutely superb! Interesting that Steve Howe was in a band called 'Yes', I saw him in Manson's guitar shop once talking to Hugh Manson and asked if I could take his photo. He snapped back "No!....and I don't shake hands either!" Hugh Manson just winked at me in empathy. Ok then....I thought :¬D

I had the opportunity to very briefly play all of the Blue guitars in 1997 timeframe. Some were frankly dogs but the Monteleone to my ears was the standout. It was also the first time I had heard a guitar with a side port.

Where are these guitars from the "Chinerty collection" now ? From the "Archtop Foundation" I can only get information about the "blue guitars"
