- Inside of the concentration camps of the Second World War, there were a number of brutal members of staff who worked there. One man was Erich Wasicky who was a ruthless doctor who was known for executing many prisoners and victims of his infirmary. But he too was executed for his crimes.

I'm not sure if anyone remembers this. But one of the occupants of the Secret Annex, namely Peter Van Daan, passed away at the Mauthausen Concentration camp. I've seen pictures of the granite quarry at Mauthausen more than once. But one thing about it I'll never forget is a set of stairs the inmates called the Death Stairs. Correct me if I got anything factually wrong in my comment. I'd appreciate it if you did because I want to keep things accurate and uncensored in honor of the thousands who died in these God awful camps. I live in the USA and I've never been to a concentration or extermination camp in Europe. I plan on visiting Germany in the future due to wanting to discover more about my family's past. Visiting one of these many memorials has been and still remains to be high on my bucket list of places to visit before I die. It's one thing to see these camps in photos and videos. But it's another thing entirely when you visit them in person. The emotions just hit you differently than you would just seeing these camps in videos and photos.
Go to one outside Germany. Went to dachau when I lived in Germany. It's pretty sanitized as far as presentation. If you want accuracy without the sugar coating I'd recommend majdanek where they didn't have time to destroy the gas chambers and its the actual chamber that was used, or auschwitz

@@renee1961 I will and thanks for your kind words. The plan is for me to visit the amount of camps equivalent to my age. Meaning should I be 28, I'll visit 28 camps regardless of what kind they are.

Honestly the Nazis were neater pharmacists nor executioners the Nazis were criminals who tortured and killed innocent people and then so called themselves executioners and pharmacists and that’s so far from the truth. They were evil people who committed war crimes and a true executioner works under a king or ruler and though they sometimes did kill innocent people because of false accusations at the time but most people who were executed by real executioners who were just doing their jobs most of the criminals actually did commit crimes but Nazis just tortured and killed innocent people because of pure ignorance there is a big difference between a executioner who is executing criminals vs a person who calls themselves a executioner and is committing awful crimes themselves.

Well, actually it may be quite hard to tell that right at birth in some occasions as the reproductive organs arent quite developed yet and look quite similar to each other(not to mention that boys are born with balls that have yet to descent to sack)
