      Thanks, Jill. They are really amazing tools and have been enhancing the work of artists for hundreds of years! It’s fun to put them to contemporary use in encaustic painting.

    Very interesting🤩How do you clean the thin nozzle part?

      Great question! I’m not sure which tool’s nozzle you are referring to, however, I generally don’t clean them! I usually just put a new colour in and then the result is a nice line which combines with the previous colour and the new colour I’ve introduced. For example if I started with red, and then add yellow, I have a nice orange in between as it’s emptying out. However, if you want a totally clean nozzle, you can just add a clear wax and as you drag it across a paper towel, it will clean out the nozzle.
