@@Kj16V it's a sequencer, basically. It's vertical, and uses either hex or alphanumeric values, as opposed to sequencers in DAW's like Cubase, Logic, Ableton, etc. which are horizonal and use what's called a piano roll. Many trackers released over the years have their own native l synthesizers and basic samplers, sometimes even FX, "built-in." In contrast, there are trackers that are simply MIDI sequencers, designed to sequence external hardware with MIDI capability. Mr. Cannon has released numerous videos demonstrating that he is sequencing AKAI S1100 and S950 rackmounted samplers, along with various hardware synthesizers, with a Commodore Amiga running the OctaMed tracker.
