Composed by Rick Davies
Transcribed and performed by Knoekus
Visual effects by Knoekus and Casperfowl
Due to a hand injury, Casperfowl was not able to make a video for today. That means another Supertramp tutorial to replace his classical masterpieces. Enjoy!
One of my Rick Davies all time favorites
Isn’t it great :) ^K

Took a boat sunday, down by the sea
It just felt so nice, you and me
We didn't have a problem or a care on earth
And all around was silence, everywhere
You are the reason I was born
To be with you through all seasons
I'll always hear you when you call
We'll keep the love light shining
Through each night and day
A lonely life behind me
Oh, what a change you've made
So down here, on the ocean
We will stay, we will stay, we will stay
Been through a lot of changes
Turned a lot of pages
When I took a boat on sunday
To know you as I know you now
That is all I need
And we will get along somehow
If we both believe
So down here, on the ocean
We will stay, we will stay, we will stay
Been through a lot of changes
Turned a lot of pages
When I took a boat on sunday
Man, your channel is amazing!
thank u so much.
Thank YOU for your very kind comment, we appreciate it very, very much! ^K
Thankyou very much for this!
Appreciate the comment!
I would really like to learn Ain't Nobody But Me. Do you like that one?
That’s a cool idea, really like that album, too! I will be working on it :)
@@PressKey2 Appreciate it :) I like your other Supertramp covers too. They are done well.
Thank you very much, that is awesome to hear!!
@@PressKey2 You don't have to hurry with the song by the way. I think I will learn My Kind Of Lady before that. It's a big help you made a tutorial for that one too. I'm at the last minute of Goodbye Stranger now, it is the first song I have learned. Took like 2 months, so the other song will take that much time too :D
Good for me, I’m a very busy student after all ;) Awesome you’re learning more Supertramp already, where did you learn goodbye stranger from?
Beautiful job!!
Thank you for your awesome comment, Kevin! 🙏🏼 ^K
Thanks🎉🎉🎉
some sections are just wrong, esp the solo
It’s an interpretation, not the original. I hope you somehow enjoyed it anyway :)
@@PressKey2 I did a Downstream cover at my Kawai with vocals and posted it on here several years ago but youtube yanked it and sent me to "copyright school" It was sad as I had many people who appreciated the exact cover I did. I do like interpretation but I also like exact copy. I do both but nothing sounds better than someone sitting at the piano and knocking it off note for note, chord for chord. I was pleasantly surprised that you, or whomever, actually got all the chords correct, most covers are dreadfully wrong. Good job, and I did enjoy it, as I am a hardcore Supertramp fan, but heavily sided to Rick Davies. I prefer his genius over Roger's. Both are master contributors to the original band product and are contrasted perfectly. I just love Ricks natural gift of progressive blues.
Ty for your appreciation, I did the chords myself :). I agree with you: both Roger and Rick are great writers tho I’d prefer Rick.
