Jamaica gained its Independence in 1962. Since Independence the Country has been led by nine Prime Ministers, some of whom have led the Country more than once.
The history of Jamaican Prime Ministers is told by the students of Moor End Academy, Huddersfield.
This webcast highlights the struggle, dedication and passion of both past and present Prime Ministers who have made Jamaica what it is today. We also pay tribute to Norman Washington Manley the first and only Premier of Jamaica.
