Maddie. Girl. You didn’t ramble AT ALL. You spoke truth, you had our backs, you see and feel our pain. I can tell it’s genuine, you didn’t bite your tongue. Thank you for speaking out. AJB 408 Saying “black lives matter” does not mean ONLY black lives matter. Of course everybody’s life matters no matter their color. Saying “black lives matter” just brings awareness to the fact that black people have consistently been mistreated and undervalued by the American justice system.

    • @yudah7492

@AJB 408 if all lives matter, then why do humans kill each other? Why do humans kill animals? All lives matter right? What's up with all of the killing humans do to other humans during wars? That's just what I'm confused on yk what I mean? Check the stats, a murderer is more likely to kill an innocent person than an innocent person kill a murderer. The media is biased. Just my opinion.

I clicked immediately as soon as I got the notification that you posted, and just the title makes me happy. Thank you for understanding the pain and suffering that we go through, and that we’ve been going through for centuries and decades. The nonstop police brutality and racism has gone far enough, and considering that we’re in a pandemic right now.....we shouldn’t have to be putting ourselves at risk of getting sick just to protest, but we have to because 4 officers and only one of them, did the most disgusting and heinous act of crime and just watching that video.....it was disgusting and repulsive and as a black girl myself, it brought chills to me. Seeing how this country is coming together from all walks of live to protest is amazing. Our voices need to be heard, and a change needs to happen, but protests just be peaceful not violent, and it’s sad that some police officers wanna provoke the violence, and the media wants to only post it all as negative. So I thank you for using your platform to spread awareness and to help us. Thank you for trying to understand us.

Maddie Cidlik thank you so much. I live in NY and I’ve only gone to one of the protests and it was actually so peaceful......until I witnessed a police officer intentionally punch my best friend in the face, push her to the ground, and call her a “stupid little “b***ch” and no other cops helped her up. Some of the cops have provoked some of the violence, and as of two nights ago, my best friend is in the hospital with a black eye and a broken arm. We’re both black girls and the irony is that when she got hurt, she was texting her mother asking her if she wanted us to pick up anything for dinner...she wasn’t saying a word until she started crying. That moment will forever be embedded in my mind.

I’m not even black and I’m not even American but I feel that black lives matter is no longer an American issue.
I live in Italy and here AfroItalians (those who are born in Italy from black parents or those who attended italian schools since they were little even if they were born in another country and have dark colored skin) are not seen 100% Italians.
They often experience racist comments in public places or even at school (i’m talking about comments like “oh but you have a strange smell” or “ok but where are you REALLY from?”) and this make me so sad. For the longest time I justified those comments saying “oh but older people don’t understand that this is racism (because In italy black community is relatively new)”
As you told being not racist is NO LONGER ENOUGH.
We need to act, we need to stop justifying those people and start educating them!
WE ARE THE FUTURE together with black people who live next to us.
    Time to change our mindset.

So I am tying to educate myself more, but I grew up in a family where we didn't talk about any political issues because we were around my grandparents so much(I think they had different views, maybe?). On top of that I have always been more shy around topics that could lead to arguing because I get uncomfortable with yelling. I don't know how to bring this up with any of my friends, but I want to have a conversation to see where my friends stand. It might be of significance if I add that I live in a smaller city in the south, but I think most of my friends are more open minded. In summary, I just wanted to ask how should I bring any of this up in a regular conversation, without it getting too awkward or anything? Also i know that it might lead to an awkward conversation, but I think it is needed. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

I am obviously a white woman but I have black friends and followers across social media and I play a virtual world where you can be anything or anyone you want to be, its where fantasy and the imagination can express yourself. I am a Black woman in this world and I never realised just how real Black women in the real world had less priveleges as it is riterated in the virtual world. I am ALL for the BLACK LIVES MATTER groups out there. I full on STAND FOR AND WITH the black and any other race out there!! Thank you for your thoughts and concerns on this matter. The Black community in every country, especially the US, need OUR VOICE in theire support!! God bless all the HUMAN RACE!!

Do you stand with Palestinians and their children suffering at the hands of racist apartied Israel? Do you stand with Asians and Muslims in the the racism and rampant islamaphobia towards us not just in amerikkka but also in UK Europe Canada Australia New Zealand etc. If not than you do not stand for justice and against racism. Too many white people like her on social media too busy talking about black issues in amerikkka but ignore the same issues of others who also suffer at the hands of white supremacists.

Rip to eyadh hallaq the 32 year old unarmed disabled Palestinian man shot dead by Israeli police on Jerusalem (as usual and regular since 1947) two days after George Floyd. His carer shouted he is disabled but they ruthlessly and indiscriminately shot him and no justice yet as always. No one said anything or protested (other than Jerusalem and Tel Aviv) but world went mad for George Floyd.

Thank you Maddie for making this video. It’s one thing to put your normal content on hold out of respect for what’s going on, but it’s a completely different thing to make a video showing your support. And that’s something that’s commendable. It’s clear that not only are you aware but you’re actually trying to educate yourself on what’s going on. Just as you stand with us, I stand with you. ✊🏾💖

Maddie. I knew I loved your channel for a bigger reason, you are SO well spoken and genuine. As a woman of color, I just want to say thank you for speaking out about this. I find myself picking and choosing the white social media influences that I watch, follow and support because it can be hard feeling like you sometimes just can't relate. I can feel your support through the screen and I can hear the care in your voice and for that I am so so grateful. I will forever support you. Thank you for speaking out about this and not cutting it short and trying to just spit the words out. You took your time, told your own experiences and hopefully sparked something within all the people who think this isn't about them. I'm here with you and stand by you. 💛💛💛💛💛💛

I tried to take your advice and have a conversation with my family about the current issues going on, since historically my family has been very conservative and close-minded on topics like this. However, when I voiced my opinions at dinner, my parents told me they would no longer allow me to live under their roof if I ever brought up my specific beliefs on the topic up again. My dad even threatened my with physical abuse if I tried to prove him wrong again! I am just warning you that it could be EXTREMELY dangerous for a lot of your viewers to try and talk about this with their own families such as what I experienced myself because now I am literally scared for my own safety. I am too afraid to post on my instagram story because I know that I would probably be kicked out of my family and I have literally no where else to go.
