I mean the theories are pretty well thought out too. I don't think they're just a gimmick for the story
It’s kinda funny but mainly depressing that Don’t Feed The Muse was pretty much birthed from a gamble on if the RUclips algorithm would actually recommend the SpongeBob Conspiracy videos and that they would end up with a consistent million or more viewer count.
And it actually worked.

As both a SpongeBob fan AND a fan of horror films, this series feels like it was made just for my brain. Thank you! This is my favorite thing on the internet right now.

Never noticed how pervasive the color yellow became all throughout. Alex starts wearing yellow shirts exclusively. He has yellow shower curtains. A lot of the food he pulls from the fridge is yellow/has a yellow label. Etc.

Might be reaching here, but a few more yellow things include things like the couch, his mug, and the general lighting in some scenes.

I know most people are more interested in your theory films, but I only got invested in the series once I saw these bits of an outstanding film that you included in each one. I came for the theory, I stayed for the film. I want to be a filmmaker myself some day, and I can appreciate the work that it takes to make something amazing. Keep up the good work, you’ve got talent
since discovering your channel yesterday I have watched most of your videos and yeah the spongebob theories are cool and all but your horror shorts rock I especially like “The Spiral” and “Late night snack”

I'm really liking the new voice of the Muse. The original was unsettling and uncanny while this one is more foreboding and powerful. Both are great, but I appreciate the new take on it. Keep it up, Bale!

I think the original voice was a result of him having chest congestion. And the muse lost that congestion the next time we hear him talk

The monster is the RUclips algorithm. It makes perfect sense. The algorithm is forcing Alex Bale to produce SpongeBob conspiracy theories.

But they changed their farm system to a gmo slaughterhouse. And when the founder spoke out against them they replaced with a just as marketable puppet.

Ok, I watch the spongebob theories ALL THE TIME, like I've watched each theory at least 3 times, and the lore is always my favorite part, and this makes it SO much easier to keep track of. Keep up the good work!
It is kind of sad, actually, that people expect him to be at only one place and give them what THEY want, instead of just supporting him for doing what he loves...

Honestly, I actually like this slow-burn mini-series that's taking place as the theory videos come out, it's a good metaphor for how creatively draining it can be to do something over and over again with no real way of escaping the cycle. You've made a wildly successful video series and it's what people have come to expect from you.
It's almost an exact play-by-play of what happened with the "How to make FNAF not scary" guy, who went through a similar problem, and unfortunately that person had more or less fallen out of relevancy once he stopped making FNAF based content. I don't even remember his channel name but I remember that specific video series.
I hope people realize that you're capable of making other videos besides Spongebob stuff since I actually really like your horror videos and think they're super creative and original.
I got some of my own ideas that I would love to one day make into videos too but for the time being that's just a side hobby.
Keep up the good work and don't let people who only see you as "the Spongebob guy" keep you from continuing to make awesome horror shorts.

I feel this! I found Alex from spongebob i wont lie and I fell in love with his theories and would love to see what theories he could come up with for other content but I fell in love with his story telling as I watched the theories. I think he was genius to add it to his spongebob theories to get those of us who didn't know if we'd like it to be like yep ya do

Really sucks that their legacy on this site is just those videos, like they had other content but only around a 70k views each but the Not Scary vids had like upwards of 2 million on all of them. The first one has like 50 million.

I’m choosing to interpret the fact that the cat was named Gary and Muse’s voice sounds a little bit like a demonic version of Mr. Krabs as an implication that Mr. Krabs would absolutely eat Gary in a heart beat.
We all love the SpongeBob theories, but damn your acting skills and this scary good plot for these scenes are amazing!

Is this the end of the SpongeBob theories? I really like them. I enjoy listening to the theories and the horror story you have entwined into it. Even if you don't continue the SpongeBob theories I will continue to watch "Don't feed the muse".

Those people that tells him what to do are also part of the plot. The cynical critic seems to have his own muse too that's forcing him to make those videos. You should check that channel out
@@qwertyasdf9290 You are correct. It's all a part of the ARG. Even Conspiracy Carl is in on it to some extent. Alex has a Discord server with some Google Doc links that explain the lore thus far.

Alex might be my new favourite RUclipsr. He’s so good at storytelling and filmmaking. This and Pizza Time Pizza combined have to be some of if not my favourite ARGs out there. Even if we’re not getting anymore theories, I, along with everyone, can’t wait to see what you do next.

I'm not gonna lie this hit a little differently watching it all together. Ive been having an immensely shitty last 2 days for no reason. My life isnt falling apart but my mental state is because im not happy with the direction my career (or lack of one) has gone. I love my wife, i love our cats, but i work part time at a gas station and she works in a warehouse and that covers the bills and the occasional treat. Seeing the "i dont wanna be doing this forever" thing and having somebody say "its just for right now, youll get there" made me cry. Everything ive done is just for right now. I could use a muse.
I’m assuming this is basically just supposed to be like a recap/“previously on” to help people get caught up before the next episode, because it’ll probably be a big one.
Especially since there aren’t going to be any more SpongeBob theories. So the next episode is going to be only lore based, so it’s probably to going to reveal a lot of stuff and answer a lot of questions. And this is to get people caught up on the lore without having to watch through all the theories.
While it’s sad that the theories are mostly likely over, now we can get more focus on the muse and other story elements that are also entertaining. Keep up the good work alex

At first I thought the name “muse” was weird but I googled it and realized it’s means the inspiration to a artist.
This was AMAZING!!! I LOVE that you combined your spooky films with the conspiracies. The way you incorporate the muse is just astounding. I'd love to see the kind of spoopy films from you in different forms but combing 2 things into 1 like this it's very creative and I'd love to see what you can come up with for other types of storylines

I just realized that Alex is slowly turning into spongebob like he's turning yellow and his cat is called Gary
It was amazing revisiting the scenes and having them compiled into one video so for those that wanted to see the Lore without the Theories interrupting them can view them properly. Not to mention Hammering some scenes that were important like Conspiracy Carl, The Cynical Critic and HMF was nice. A way to let viewers know for those that are unaware They are Important to the Lore.
I Love the new Muse Voice. Hearing the change from the first speaking appereance it sounded a lot more unsettling than the Patrick esk Voice. It still sounded Unsettling but it was goofy somewhat which did help with the weridness of The Muse sounding like a Cartoon Character but complete off, but the New Voice is way better and gives The Muse a lot more imitating and horrifying.
I Also like how you put a timeline in chrongoical order of events that happened in the scenes. It's cool knowing that some scenes we see in the next theory video actually took place directly after the last one and just a little bit before the current one was coo and is interesting. Even though it was kinda obvious, still nice though.
Really can't wait for the rest of the series to come to a Conclusion.
I do wonder though. It seems clear that the "DON'T FEED THE MUSE" would be the titles for the last episodes. Would it still have the "Spongebob Conspiracy" in the title like have it as a small thing or would it be gone permanently?
These still amaze me with the level of quality in your productions. I respect your craft even more now that I'm 2 months into filming for my first feature length project! Looking forward to everything you put out!

The reality is people DO want your spongebob theories and probably some like them more than your other work, but it’s amazing the way you have sort of blended the reality of what you are doing into the film world that you are creating. At this point they are almost one in the same. Honestly and truly your series has been incredibly impressive and I hope you continue on in your quest to make art! One thing I do want to add i get being bored and drained of the spongebob theories especially since you can only make so many original ideas I think it might be fun to do other shows you enjoy. I honestly love your theories over any theory channel on here because of the details you look for and how you give us a break from the theory to make your own story. Not begging you to make theories I want you to make more of the muse honestly lol but it could help attract even more fans like spongebob let you introduce them to your amazing filmmaking and keep those who seem to only want the theories appeased as well since there are still theories of yours

I love this series, everything about from the effects to the quality of the acting being so genuine and honest that I guarantee you that if this were a a fully fledged show I would watch every season and get an autograph of my spine from every person that helped make this.
One thing I also want to recommend btw is that the series could also expand into Nickelodeon show theories as a whole if you ever feel a slight lack of sensibility. Overall, I love this a lot. God bless you man!

Watched about half of this earlier, I'll catch the rest later. It's nice to have all these lore bits clipped and complied all in one video, it serves as a nice refresher and tbh more ARGs could stand to do a recap of some sort for new viewers just tuning in.
