Angelina turned 17 on January 10th, 2023. She was 13 when this was recorded, signed with Republic Records at 14, and now that she is finishing high school in LA, will be releasing a new album some time this year. I predict she will be one of the greats in the music, bringing class, elegance and artistry that is much needed in the industry.

Angelina won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 yrs old after starting the competition at 7 yrs old. The youngest winner of any Got Talent show on the planet. She had to wait two years because you had to be 7 yrs old to enter. She started with a rendition of Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday' which she just infused with Billie's soul. She followed this by another Billie classic with a pitch perfect rendition of 'I'm a Fool to Want You' acapella. Her next performance was a beautiful rendition of 'Bang, Bang' by Sonny & Cher and performed most famously by Nancy Sinatra. She won the competition with what I consider her first Masterpiece performance of 'Summertime' by George Gershwin. Shortly after winning she was designated a National Treasure by the Norwegian people. ♥👣👸🏻

She started studying all the greats of Jazz soon after under the guidance of her Iranian Grandmother Mery Zamani a child prodigy in her own right as an artist and poet. English is Angelina's 3rd language behind Norwegian and Farsi along with Japanese and some German and perhaps more. She did this from 2 & 3 yrs old by scrolling thru RUclips of all their most Iconic performance. Angelina doesn't just mimic these greats, she reinterprets them and then simply sings them the way they were meant to be sung. She makes them her own.
Angelina was begging her mother to go on "that Simon show" when she was 3 yrs old. encouraged to sing children songs, she would have none of that. She is well known worldwide in the industry. Her family and Angelina have been holding back turning down many of the biggest in the industry while she finishes school. Remember she just turned 17 January 10th. They finally signed with Republic Records about three years ago after getting a deal that gave her control of her artistic vision and has since released 2 originals, 'Million Miles' & '7th Heaven' plus a soundtrack for the New Movie "The Hating Game" which opens with her song 'Mercy' performed most notably by Duffy. Republic has labeled her their Highest Priority and assigned a team to her including Rob Christy a multiple Grammy Winner, often on the piano in many of her performances and a whole team of equally qualified professionals. She has worked with some of the best musicians in the industry and always get exactly what she wants. They call her the Boss and have immense respect for her. She is due to release her 1st album promised by Angelin to be soon.
She has been diligently perfecting her craft since winning Norway's Got Talent singing all over the world, Germany, Japan, Korea as well as TV appearances such as The View, Little Big Shots and most notably America's Got Talent where she premiered her Iconic Performance of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' which Queen gave her the rights to record her own version available on ITunes and Spotify included on her Album 'Magic' which she released on her own along with a Christmas Song collection. She didn't win AGT because she would not sign with Simon. IMO. She has also sung for Many Heads of State including Barack Obama and a couple of songs opening for Norah Jones in Korea. She also sang at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert at 8 yrs old for Malala and another recipient. Mostly she has sung for charities helping raise millions for children charities and climate change. The great part is that most of it has been well documented often by herself and her family. Her Grandmother who introduced her to Jazz at 3 & 4 yrs old is behind the camera more than anyone else. AJ's family would not allow that to happen because they wanted her to have as much of a normal life as possible and still pursue her goals, and money was not an issue because her family is somewhat wealthy. Several producers flew into Norway in their private jets after AJ wone NGT and tried to sign her, but the family did like the terms of the contracts. I believe one of the producers was David Foster.

Miss, Angelina Jordan started singing at 1,5 Years!!!! She discovered Jazz at age 2 and started practicing her craft since age 3 for 36 hours a week. At age 4 she went for technical advise to the music academy of Oslo, later on LA. She is mostly self-taught in her craft, but learned to play some instruments. For sure she plays piano and guitar, there are rumors for other instruments, but I can´t confirm that.
Her language are Norwegian, Swedish, Persian/Farsi, Japanese, German and French. It is said she learns Spanish at the moment. She also is a math. wiz. She paints, writes her owns songs, draws the story boards for her videos, leads her own company "Angelina Jordan Inc." since age 12 and helps the homeless community in LA. Part of her proceeds are donated to children charities.

Angelina Jordan Astar the best Vocalist I've ever heard in my 36 years life. She set a new goal for 13 year olds. We all know there are lots of 13 year olds who blew the world away but Angelina doubled that goal or even tripled. She even set goals for 9 year olds and 8. No one would reach that goal at least in this generation. In other words, I've never heard a voice so complete with no flaws at that young age (what we know of 30 year old artists) she reached that mark and I'd bet 80% of artists up until now don't have the same complete voice and emotion to bring. I may sound crazy but considering her age and everything she might be the best the world has ever seen in the future. Throw away all the legends and great artist of past and present she will be the top name in the music industry.

I saw her entire song here on RUclips and I was…….well, I’m still looking for my head. She was so glamorous and beautiful singing the FIFA Anthem at the FIFA Award Show 2023. The entire show is about 1-1/2 hrs but Angelina is about 3/4 of the way thru. Worth the time to find it. WOW!

Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She even donated her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond.
Angelina captures hearts because she is humble and has compassion for humanity. Her stated goal from childhood was to sing for the world and spread love and peace. She has been performing at a high level all over the world since age 8 when she won Norway's Got Talent singing Billie Holiday, Nancy Sinatra, and Gershwin. If you want to hear music, listen to anyone. If you want to feel music, listen to Angelina. She will stagger you with her ability to find and bring forth the 'essence', the emotional message of nearly any song. You have far to go with Angelina. Yes good call. As a kid her instrument is changing so much in so many ways. Yet it was always just an easy transition for her seemingly. Like 200 songs later now, not ever tons of time away. So this whole time she has been exploring her voice, adjusting, getting better, never stationary, never developing bad habits that bite her when her voice changes. Just a fluid masterful artistry and control over her instrument. A decade of fluidly giving us elite control and versatility. I think that's incredible. She must be so in love with this and stoic, to never waiver or get stuck and frustrated when changes are happening in her.

Do not discount her early covers. She's been brilliant since her Norways Got Talent win. Auditioned with Billy Holidays GLOOMY SUNDAY, often called the Hungarian suicide song. An unusual choice by a 7 year old. She was actually 8 by the final. I love her BANG BANG and consider it the definitive version of this song. The image of tiny girl with flowers in her hair combined with her haunting voice and the lyrics cannot be beaten. 2 other stand out performances amongst many are 10 years old IM HOLDING OUT FOR YOU and FEELING GOOD. Most people will recommend her 9 year old cover of I PUT A SPELL ON YOU.

As per Angelina Jordan, 'pick a song,... any song...' as I am certain you will not be disappointed. (one of my personal favourites is 'A Song for A' which is a poem by the one and only Robbie Burns, put to a wonderfully enigmatic score by Nico Cortosio, written quite specifically for Angelina).
AJ is also unique in the fact that her musical career development has been meticulously preserved and archived. Yes, Angelina is an old soul who cannot possibly contain the music which flows through her. I am blessed to have Angelina Jordan in my Universe!

A lot of fans know her singing is beautiful but don't appreciate how much of the beauty is in her command of her voice. Yes, she was born with an incredible tone and warmth in her voice, so much talent, but the work she has put into learning how to use all that talent needs to be appreciated by more people.
Without even looking at the comments I know a lot of people will recommend "I Put a Spell on You". Some say she was 6, some say 9. She was *8,* it was right after she won Norway's Got Talent.
