- Sometimes I have to escape to the forest to clear my mind. Lately there have been so many negative thoughts floating around in there. People come to me for assistance and advice and most of the times I have answers but sometimes I come across situations where even I don't know what to say. This video is about one of those moments.

im sad to hear a viewer had taken his life that's horrible to hear his mother try to make him something he's not i can't even imagine how she's feeling now.
on a side note im glad to know you & your farm are in one piece I've been watching the coverage of the wildfires its so scary especially when they get close.
sadly they are so common hear in California because of the drought it's become common i can't even remember how many we've had this year.
Thanks for watching my video. We actually had people from out west come to help control the fires. We don't get them over here very often so we don't really have the resources to control the fires very quickly. It's nice to know others will come to our aid in the time of need.
Drummond. our firemen are in high demand these days it's a point of pride when i see our guys from CA going to help folks around the country even some high schools actually teach fire science as a course my nephew who lives in the foothills is taking it.
up there they don't mess around when a fire breaks out they're on it otherwise it's too late

we are humans....we are meant to be different no one can change us.one day i hope everyone realizes this...i have been in the same situation...even though im alive i hated myself...bullying caused me to break down and fall on my knees and just say...why am i here.My friends have helped me...they brought me laughter...but ill never be the girl that was happy to be different...i never cared about what i looked like or what people say.But after the bullying over having a crush on a boy...ill never be the same...kids if you see this and you are being bullied because you like someone...dont be like me...dont lock yourself away...dont let them get to you...please...

Really well done video bud. That story was very sad and too bad the mom did not accept him before it was too late. These stories need to be heard to help educate people before it too late...

I am uncertain whether rage and hatred are ever a good place to act from, probably cool-calm-and-collected is a stronger position to start from, for your own protection? Glad you did what you did to stand up for those being berated but acting from a position of being overcome by anger, or other strong negative emotions may expose you to danger etc. We need you to stay around fully functional as one of the good guys!
You are totally right; that is why we have to think about this, humo(u)r is sometimes powerful--I have a total commitment to non-violence which may be conditioning my responses and somehow I can't see displays of hatred succeeding. So we'll have to rack our brains and keep looking for the right solutions--maybe each case is going to be different and I suspect I'd have reacted just like you did.

That is awful how the combination of ignorance and religion can cause someone to do something like that to their own family members.
I want to know what kind of videos I could make to help parents understand what they are doing to their children.
Drummond I think many parents need to be reminded that their children are not their property, they are individual people with full human rights and if the kids don't turn out like the parents were wishing for, they still have to live on as their parents with unconditional love. Something like that, I seem to have hard time expressing my self in english today.
Excellent video. Parents need to understand this before they repeat this horrible and unnecessary cycle. And I hope that Muslim family didnt take it too much to heart. Did you witness it personally?
