She has done Janis Joplin, also Joan Jett. As a matter of fact at this concert she actually sang Piece of My Heart. Someone mentioned they thought Sam’s solo was indulgent, but he’s actually a very humble young man. When they performed at this concert Sam was 20, Abigail 19, Melody 18, Ethan 16 and Justin 14. As they’re grown up,they have dropped the “vampire” theme, and maybe revived it a bit for Heaven and Hell. Keep in mind their parents are from Romania and their dad actually grew up near Count Vlad’s castle and I think pride in that heritage, at least originally, took them in that direction. When they covered Seven Nation Army they wore outfits with black and white stripes, The Trooper was camo, plaid flannel for Smells Like Teen Spirit, so there’s variety. I know you said you didn’t want to review more covers, but Master of Puppets featuring Aiden Fisher, which is live and was an encore at the end of a concert, is really good and also another live original is Not Afraid. What another commenter said is true, they don’t have a lot of quality videos of live performances, often what you find on line was taken by someone using a cell phone. I’m hoping there is more quality live performance video from the tour they’re just starting. Additionally their original, Sail Away, just won Best Original Song "SAILAWAY", at the INDIE FILMMAKERS HALL OF FAME AWARDS in Rome, for the Motion Picture "CRY OF SILENCE".

For an original , try Sail Away it's not live but is original . Or Not Afraid extended version . It's a studio recording but the video is all from live shows in 2022 and you will see different looks besides all black and it really shows the energy they put into live shows . If you want a newer original that steps away from the 80s style , try Madness . It's not live . There is also a whole show from 2021 recorded live . There are people on both sides of the cover song thing. They do have a lot of people asking for the covers . They did The Last in Line for the Dio cancer benefit at the request of Wendy Dio a few years ago . Melody was a guest singer for Vinny Apicce's Sabbath Nights a few years ago and it was a killer show .

I really like this band but I was bored with the guitar solo intro also But that’s in general I don’t really care to see any guitar solos , they have all been done before and basically the same with the exception of maybe a few like watching Brian May with queen back in 1983 which was a unique solo then but even then I was kind of bored with most solos in general . They really don't do carbon copy covers like a cover band would do most people would agree they do tributes to songs they like as well as their own original songs .
I'm starting this by saying i am a fang, and i am totally biased in favor of Liliac. So far you have reacted to Liliac twice and both times found something to be negative towards the band, but it's your reaction and your honest opinion, and i respect that. Both reactions of Liliac i had to stop watching. I'm just going to say that if you liked anything about them, go see them live.
Word of advice Fangs be aware that the childish remarks you post actually hurt the band.. The reactors have every right to say what they want to even if you dont like it. I have been following this band since the boardwalk days and they have really improved a lot. Sam's a amazing guitarist and all the kids are well accomplished musicians. Melody's voice is also very good. If you want to help suggest songs for the reactor to listen too instead of dissing them. Everyone has their own taste in music. He wants to hear Janice then lead him to the song she did at this same concert. Piece Of My Heart instead of acting hurt. He is a fair reactor from what I have heard. When one's Dad grew up just down the road from Count Vlad the Impaler... The entire band makes all the ideas they use...that Bass Player was 13 in this video...Keyboard was 11... Then skip the damn solo..but the rest of the band was on the single Potty Break they get per concert...Sam stays out there to keep the audience entertained... As for Liliac playing stadiums, you’ll be waiting a long, long time to purchase that ticket, if ever. Cover/tribute rock or metal bands do not get stadium gigs. Instead, you'll find them playing across the street at the neighborhood bar. They’d better concentrate on selling tickets for their current tour, which include bars, some with seating capacities of only of 300. That will not get you on the stadium circuit in the U.S., or anywhere else, for that matter.

@@ThePentagenarian Just looked up their last concert, Feb 17 in Winchester VA. 11 songs total, 4 were covers. They should have enough material by now to do an 11 song set without covers. Plush is doing the same thing, they're opening for Disturbed, playing 7 songs, one of which is a cover. And they have two albums out. I've seen setlists from them with 2 covers in a short set. It gives people the impression, true or not, that you don't have enough good material of your own.
