My family from my father's side is from Banton, thereby my province is the island. I think my value for religion came from this island because many festivities happen here that revolve in Catholicism.

I saw the island in google map, I don't know if it is updated, it's nice to see that its forest is barely touched...
Satellite imagery for the Philippines isn't up to date in Google Maps. It was taken around 2015 to 2016. A lot of coconut trees in Banton have been felled by strong typhoons in 2015 and 2019.
Well done Epi in detailing our beloved hometown's rich history, traditions and the beautiful scenic attractions it has to offer to locals and tourists alike. Was able to take a glimpse of our humble abode (3:10 - 3:19). Kita ay inabuyong. Keep those Epic Adventures coming! :-)

May fare matrix na sinusunod ang mga motorsiklo eh. I'm not sure how much ngayon kasi matagal na di nakauwi ng Banton gawa ng pandemic.
I haven't heard BANTON before. We will be in Romblon after our 1 WEEK Boracay trip. 2Go ship has only Saturday trip going to Odiongan from Jetty Port. May I ask how to get to Banton Island from Odiongan? and if there's any lodge/resort/inn there we can spend a night or 2?

Take the Lucena-bound Starhorse Ferry at San Agustin, which leaves Friday afternoon (I think just past lunch). It will stop by Banton. There are a number of inns in town (Familara Lodge behind the Municipal Hall, Hipos Yang Inn at Purok Arlim, Brgy. Poblacion, Kenontel in Brgy. Mainit).

There are no hotels in Banton. What it has are a few homestays such as the Hipos Yang Inn and the Familara Lodge in Brgy. Poblacion.
