Pleasant voice, excellent elocution, no sordid music in the background, no 'like' and 'actually' terms used out of context, no invasion of one's monitor with a self-aggrandizing face, attention to detail....the list can go on. What more can one expect. For all the many other 'tutorialists' this doubles as a tutorial on how to do it. Many thanks.
THANK YOU!!! For 3 days I have been scouring beginner tutorials. Other experts say the tutorials are for beginners but then they do not explain half the things they are doing to arrive at the final result. You solved 3 of my problems within the first 30 seconds. One for a completely different issue. Excellent work. I can finally do some work now :)))))
I'm having so much trouble with nodes and textures that I can't believe there is a solution as easy as explained here. I can't wait until tomorrow night to try this ! 😁👍🏻
Finally a video precise and focused on plain simple, but also very hard stuff for someone who starts with Blender. I've been looking for this for very long time. Thank you very much.
This was incredibly helpful. Im very much a novice at blender. I have a degree in photography and sometimes I just like to be able to create my own backgrounds/scenes and implement my subject matter. Aside from this, I've always praised digital sculptors/modelers for doing what they do.
DUUUUUUUDE, I spent 3 F***ing hours trying to do this from scratch after I finished making all the textures in Substance Painter. I can't believe it was this easy. I some thankful but so mad at the same time!
thank you so much! i was trying to press ctrl + shift + t to open up the textures setup while watching another tutorial, but it didn’t work and i don’t know why, until i found this tutorial i realised i needed to enable an addon. thank you!

I modelled some building, but then, when I try to apply a texture with Ctrl+Shift+T, it doesn't appear anything on the nodes after I select the textures I had downloaded. It only works with shapes I didn't model yet.
Hey! The way I found to do it, was to use 2 array modifiers in the x and y values to tile the texture out as many times as I need to, then hit "apply" on the array modifiers to make it a part of the mesh.
Your so ducking good ;v , thx for this tip. Btw, ppl who want to make textures(and a library of them), 'materialize' software is so powerful for this. in my case, i made a brick texture without knowledge and it was perfect for me xd dunno why
nice thank you man! most people do tutorials and don't explain some of shit shit and it gets so frustrating. Is there a reason you would not want to use the node wrangler add on?
Great tutorial! However, I don't get the node wrangler to arrange my images in shader nodes. What might I be missing? I notices the images you use are all jpegs, and the image texture I downloaded contained exr and png files as well as jpegs.
Can someone help me at 1:38, because I wanted to put shaders on my rock but when I choose all the images to Open, it did not appear anything in the shader editor. Am I doing something wrong?

0:10 Why!???
Why you kill the Cube?
He was your friend.
Because you can see texture clearly on plane rather than a cube
Ikr..he can just put the little poor cube on the side while he is making the tutorial so the cube can see his owner working on something
@@zcypher6558yeah or he can hide the cube , that would be nice

you can actually have displacement in eevee, by creating a displace modifier and link it to the displacement map in texture properties
