I will certainly consider that, thanks for the suggestion! I don't typically stray too far outside of LEGO Space topics, but perhaps I could blend in Seatron (which was the prototype of what became Aquazone) and cover it with the Aquasharks.... I'll have to think about that more :)
@@minifigsinspace I never played it myself, I just read it on Brickipedia. Apparently, the game is called: "LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed", and he is named Locus there, suggesting his full name is Locus Webb. Combining some of the Insectoid characters' alternate names works well in some cases (Zec Wizer sounds good) but not for others (Steel Danny Longlegs or Sharp Gypsy Moth. I guess in their cases, Steel and Sharp might just be nicknames given to them due to their talents.)
Great video and really appreciated too as I'm very hungry for content featuring Blacktron as they're so mysterious and fascinating. I consider Blacktron the bad guys but there's more to them than just "moustache twirling" villians. I think of them as a crime syndicate and to survive and thrive in the harshness of space they must have many qualities. They have first and foremost loyalty to each other, they have intelligence as they're often outnumbered by the combined forces of Futuron, M-Tron and the Space Police, they have to have a good sense for business to find markets to deal and sell in stolen goods and lastly to occasionally exploit galactic politics to call truces and make alliances when needed. The other factions may despise Blacktron and everything they do but there is a begrudging respect for them. Hail BLACKTRON!!!
Thank you for the kind words! I'm happy to hear that the Blacktron content was informative :D I certainly agree that Blacktron spacemen are more than "shallow" villains, they have a lot of depth to their character. I believe this has become more evident with the CMF appearances, as it highlights their varying professions and motivations.
@@minifigsinspaceTo underline to what you've just said to my knowledge from all the classic space themes Blacktron has made the most appearances in the CMF series which says to me that it's one of the most beloved factions from that era. PLEASE Lego give us more Blacktron as the gwp set from 2023 isn't nearly enough to satisfy our appetite, it just whetted it.
I just noticed that blacktron's only consistent blaster is the camera piece. The others use microphones, new blasters, and ray guns. What is their official blaster?
It varies quite a bit actually! They have also used the "megaphone" as a weapon in Classic sets, but have since utilized the ray gun from Alien Conquest and the ADU gun. It seems like they appreciate variety ;)
I have a question: The Space Minifigure pack that came with M-tron and Blacktron II astronauts also came with a Blacktron 1 and Space Police 1 minifigure as well. Could this be looked upon as both versions of Blacktron working at the same time?
Personally, I would say yes! It fits in perfectly lore wise looking through catalogue scenes. Something similar is seen for Space Police actually, where Space Police I is shown arresting Blacktron II.
No way! I guess I shouldn't be too surprised though, considering your entire channel is devoted to Blacktron 😂 In all seriousness, that's really cool! It's not often I happen to have the same collection of minifigs as someone else :)
Hello! From my research into the lore of Blacktron, I have not found LEGO to have designated any particular leader of Blacktron (which in my opinion is a huge bummer). That could of course change in the future, but currently the answer appears to be no. I hope this helps! Thank you for stopping by :)

I hope you do a video on Spyrius and Aqua Sharks, my all time 3 favourite Lego Sci-Fi Villain Factions (Blacktron being the other part of the Triad).

5:09 This reminds me this is the CMF series from which LEGO stopped writing bios for their minifigures, man do I miss those.
I sure do miss those too, it was part of what made me buy some of the minifigures :)
Apparently, Professor Webb, one of the characters from Lego Insectoids, has been identified as a member of Blacktron in some video game.
Oh, that's fascinating! Do you happen to remember which video game it was? I haven't come across that lore before so I'm curious to explore it.

@@oedo.4959 HAIL!
I didn't know Blacktron employed Chiss.
Neither did I! I'm afraid I don't know who that is, can you explain? :)
Thrawn.
Ah gotcha, thanks for explaining!
I got a Blacktron 2 minifigure at an antique store
Woah, that's pretty sweet! I haven't had that type of luck at antique stores 😄
I have three of the Blacktron bounty hunters and four of the Blacktron mutants.

What if we get a BLACKTRON Minifigure with a BLACKTRON BABY figure in a future CMF Series?
Ooooo, now there's an idea! I would totally be down for that 😂
@minifigsinspace we did get the Brown Spaceman with the Blue Space baby it basically the same Idea
I to have 3 Evil Mechs. We should combine our mechs
That's an amusing coincidence! We should indeed lol 😂
@minifigsinspace I do have 1 extra helmet to. I have a neat idea for it
That's funny as well, as I have an extra helmet as of a week or so ago! Have your Blacktron forces been spying on me? 😂
@minifigsinspace no, they arnt spy's. My spy's are the ones spying on you
Publishing military intel is always risky pal. Be very careful out there.
Thank you sir, your caution has been well received ;)
