How interesting!..my husband is from central Saudi Arabia..an area called Qaseem..they have a type of sweets *just* like this..crispy outside..hollow inside with a caramel like syrup made of sugar, cinnamon and ground dried black lemon..they call it Kulaija and it's delicious!..it's amazing to find all the culinary similarities between cultures! thanks for sharing!

I use your technique for double frying chicken to make some of the best chicken strips I have ever had, and the best part is that you introduced me to potato starch, so my sister who is gluten intolerant can have my delicious chicken strips. I can't get enough of your videos. For me, doesn't matter what nationality anyone is, learning recipes from other cultures fosters world unity and I always feel like I'm in the kitchen with my mom, grandma or aunts learning a secret family recipe! ;) You are entertaining and a wonderful teacher!!
I actually had this on a whim and it was labelled as "air bread" at a korean bakery , the inside filling was a little dry but still sweet and nutty from the sesame seeds, the dough also had black sesame seeds kneaded into it. Texture wise, it's nice if you like crunchy /chewy things. VERY good compliment to tea or coffee imo. Will try making these soon!

+mjid souad We have the standard is 240ml for 1 cup. But if you want to transfer 1 cup to gram, it depends on what ingredients that you use.
