It was Tim Conways mission in life to get Harvey to break character and it was great! Fond childhood memories of watching Carol Burnett with my grandpa.
Their scenes together are the best.
The dentist skit with Tim Conway 😂😂😂 cracks me up I laugh until I cry 😂
I still watch that skit to this day.
I loved him on Carol Burnett's "Went With The Wind" skit. He was great.

Thank you for this one! His contribution on the Carol Burnette show was priceless. How I miss the days when comedy was original and actually funny! It shows you how you can be funny without cursing, or innuendos. Creativity is definitely a lost art!

note what he did with his life outside of acting, gold medal for him, most of those people have zero idea what to do and have banked on one option. shameful. my granny had me watching mike douglas, merv, carol, the stooges as even an older lady she loved the stooges and its carried me to this day and my brother before he pasted, he also loved seinfeld, geez those are what come to mind oh the "programs" as the world turns, is the one that stands out. that was after their lunch cause ya know, despite not even working they had to have the three meals it was hilarious to me i fed up well there cause at home none of that happened. some people have integrity and morals and nope they aint doing it.

When I saw the title of this vlog it made me think of all the TV shows like Carol's. We don't have shows like this anymore. I miss them. Thank you for telling Harvey's story and bringing back the memories of what tv was like. Take care

While i loved him on Carol Burnett, i think some of his best work was in Blazing Saddles!
Met Harvey at a baseball game at Dodger Stadium in 1977 and got his autograph. He was with Ricardo Montalban, I got both their autographs and still have them. They both left the game early since people wouldn't leave them alone, they were polite but were getting tired of people asking for autographs, I was 10. Will never forget that time, I don't even remember who won the game.
