Is it just me that chooses horses to match with Arthur or John ... idk it feels appropriate to have a horse that kind of matches the character your playing
I agree. I like to ‘get into character’. I used to only really want that silver dapple MO fox trotter but it just seems to flashy for Arthur. I either use the chocolate roan Dutch warm blood or the starting Tennessee walker.

its devastating how the iron coat Ardennes horse was only available to ppl who preordered. I got the game in 2019, saw that horse in youtube vids and wondered why i could never find it. You can basically never get it ever again 😭
I know how to get it for free. Its easy enough. Use cheat codes. Then u can't save game. Problem huh? Well in chap 4 there's a mission which autosaves. So use horse cheat before the mission and when the mission autosaves you keep everything ( I use money and legend of east outfit and horse cheats too) then when u finish the mission quit game and turn it back on then u can save game

Idk if it’s just me but I always try to find a bigger breed of horse for Arthur, like the Ardennes breed I fee it fits with Arthur’s character. With John I just find the nicest horse
I always keep the Raven Shire Hosea gives Arthur & max out his stats. There’s a back story on how Hosea acquired it & it’s a 1 of a kind in game horse. I even name mine “Big Brute” to honor Hosea a little more. 😂

I had the chestnut pinto saddler for my first horse aside from the first horse you're given and the shire, and she's always been so special to me for some reason. I think i originally tried to catch her because it was just after the bear mission and I saw her coat through the trees, and in the sunlight she looked really bright and I was like OOOOH MUST HAVE. I did go around and collect other horses across the game, but she stayed as my main horse to the point I almost felt guilty for getting more horses. I didn't pick her for any specific reason other than that I came across her and was like yep she's mine.
@@tyrannotherium7873 as simple as downloading a file and dropping it into your RDR2 file. Most of them will switch themselves off when you exit and go into Online so you don't get any boots or rejections from Rockstar.

I wonder if the Rockstar team that came up with these horses and colors did some research on it .. because some colors, I've NEVER heard of or seen in the breed, or in a horse for that matter. Same goes for the patterns. Piebald pinto for example. A piebald is by definition already a horse/animal with pinto/tobiano patterns.
This isn't all of the horses. There's 3 or 4 coats completely different from others from the gang in Annesburg (can't remember the name) that are left.
What about Buell? Surely he deserves a spot in this video. And in terms of the raven black shire and mahogany bay Tennessee Walker, I named the Shire "Maximus", and the TW "Duke" as I feel that those names suit them.
I have a pattern that is much like real life. So I love the red chestnut Arabian (blood bay), dapple bay TWH, Rachel, blood bay TB (regular bay), dark bay Andalusian, and the bay shire. Real life...4 of my 5 horses are bay 😆
What the hell are you talking about? The Breton, Criollo and Kladruber aren't in Story Mode! They are in Online mode. Also, a lot of coats you showed about Story Mode horses are actually from the Online Mode and you have 0% chance to find them in the Story Mode.
O'What, that Appaloosa black doesn't exist in the game, he looks more like a few spots with a bugged skin than a horse. Because this horse doesn't exist in the game. Many horses there are Mod, this black Appaloosa maybe and one of the Arabian Thoroughbreds, there are none that are gray, and some horses are not available in historical mode, only online, such as Criollos, Bretão..
Question! Where can you find the black snow flake in story mode with Arthur and Johnand the grey coat Arabian? Because i been looking for both of the horses and im never able to find them
These horses are either SPAWNABLE or FINDABLE in RDR2: Story Mode

Yeah I always use the Black Chestnut Thoroughbred for Arthur. Just seems like a good size & a beautiful horse. Suits him

The Buckskin American Standard bred was the wrong horse you used a buttermilk buckskin Kentucky saddler
