The brindle thoroughbred is such a good horse!! I stole her from some rando near st Dennis and ended up keeping her as one of my main horses when I realised what a great early all rounder she is. Zigzag I called her. I miss that horse.
I named the wild, warped brindle Arabian “Ziggy”. Took me for EVER to get that horse, I visited the spot at least 20 times over 60 in game days. (Probably around 12 total hours of gameplay). Ended up selling it anyways, which I sorta regret. But something about Arabians just always draw me in with their mystique and stats, but never really feel like “MY” horse, if that makes sense. Their size is part of it I guess. They just don’t look like a sturdy, reliable, “built for the wild west” breed. Despite their health stat blowing away all other breeds.
The other free horses you can get in chapter 2 include the dapple dark grey Hungarian, the few spotted appaloosa(rare wild spawn), Missouri Fox Trotter( incredibly difficult to acquire using exploits) and the Perlino Andalusian( requires you to travel all the way from Horseshoe Overlook to the North Eastern corner of the map near Roanoke valley).
Fox trotter exploit is patched, you can keep trying 100s of times but it's not gonna spawn Biscuit (the name of that horse) alive. The only way to get it early is from the Albert Mason missions, the only wild fox trotter but only if you're very quick..

@@dundunlopez7359 I always pick one up from the prospector at the Dakota river right own from Horsehoe Overlook, first thing I do in chapter two even beffore I do any missions. He is always there in my experience, in my three playthroughs, and if you don't find him there he will show up on other locations at the river prospecting.

She never spooks at anything, stands still while getting hit by bullets and has 0 reaction, and has stared a bear down while I was shooting it. Runs crocs over with no issues and is so speedy that we can escape anything. I had a dwb for a while and it bucked me off just because a single guy was shooting at us... so from now on I stick to my brindle LOL
And to think I had no idea.. at least considering the second horse which is even better than the first. I picked up the first since the man died I figured he didn't need it and I was curious about it's stats. Also, the horse you borrow to chase down squealer in first mission to valentine is also a good stat horse at very start to pick up for free. Just don't return it.
@NarinHasan-ez1qb cuz you're gunna want access to the stables if you want to hang on to any horses. I had a temporary horse that has randomly vanished and I didn't bond with any other horses either. No idea what happened and it was the splashed white paint. Ofc i cant find another one now and ive been searching everywhere. Wish I took it to the stable sooner *sigh*
you can if you use dynamite and a bullet on your first horse. That would let you take your saddle and use it in another horse(any horse) and will partially open some stables before the mission with Hosea ;)
Black Arabian almost completely full cores and I mean just barely missing being a complete circle in St. Dennis. no coaxing, following, roping, it's just standing there and you jump and go. very easy and happens OFTEN. Like if your there 3 days you'll get it in 2.
Anyone else steal the Sooty Buckskin Dutch Warmblood after it kicks the drunk you can mislead in Valentine? No recourse, the stable guys runs away after the drunk gets kicked. Lol 🤠
Plenty of free good horses. you can catch in the wild, if you are lucky you can glitch the strawberry Roan, It really depends on game play on what horse is perfect for you.
You shouldn't do this until after you hunt with Hosea just to ensure the "unowned" horses don't get deleted in a cut scene. This happened to me twice since I guess I didn't have space to stable the horses.

Well in chapter 2 i got black arabian instead white arabian in st denise and i got mft silver dapple pinto from stranger mission. In chapter 3 i got turkoman, well all of this is rare for arthur because you can get all this horse after epilog
@@rezwanulhossain6488 i got mft from stranger mission called acardia for beginner 3 and turkoman from mission in chapter 3 called horse for fleshed dinner (cmiiw). There’s a guide in youtube that alow you to have those horse for arthur.

I'll try the Standardbred. Not a fan of most of the 'Favorite' horses like the Arabians or Thoroughbreds, too skittery. Nokota is easy to get in chpt 2 but also too skittery for me.
You can acquire a bounty on your head and as the bounty hunters get more serious, they ride better horses. I've seen them riding every horse in the game I think. Be quick their horses scram as soon as the rider is shot, lol.

The best I got from bounty hunters is blood bay thoroughbred, dapple thoroughbred, and a couple of Hungarian halfbreeds. Always the same few horses. Oh and some Mustangs.
I think Missouri Fox Trotter is slightly better than Throughbred Brindle. their speed and acceleration stats are the same. but Missouri Fox health and stamina are 5 and 6 by default. Throughbred Brindle health and stamina are 3 and 3 by default. in other hand Throughbred Brindle handling is 6 and Missouri Fox handling is 4. Missouri Fox hunting is better than Throughbred Brindle, when you surrounded by pack of wolves, Throughbred Brindle will buck you off sooner than Missouri Fox. you have access to Throughbred Brindle at the early game, but you can ride Missouri Fox at the end of the game (without using tricks or glitches of course).
I will ride them all to the lvl 4th. Red Dead Redemption 2 is not just about doing missions and shooting, you know. Main missions in this game are about 30% of it. the other 70% are trying horses, hunting, fishing, side missions, stranger missions, chance encounters, secrets, discoverable places, discoverable items, challenges, compendium lists. one of the enjoyments is trying different horses, with different states, different coat. like trying different cars in GTA 5. just look at Menu of the game, compendium, horses section. see how many horses are out there, how many breeds, how many numbers. with the help of "Shark Tooth Trinket" and feeding the horse mounted, you can reach to lvl 4th of any horses, in half an hour (real life hour). which means you can ride all horses, all breeds, all coats, in less than month.

I'll letcha' know how it goes. I have tried others like a Morgan which is so slow. And others but I do feel as crazy as this character is you need a strong but clam horse. Arabians do spoke too easy.

It means you encountered with him before. there's 3 or 4 other chances. 1. check the road before Limpany around 9 morning to 12. 2. check the road by the Fort Riggs, way to the north, around 12 noon to 4 pm. 3. check the road in Big Walley, northwest of Strawberry, where the legendary buck and trapper are located. check that road to the north around 9 am to 12. by the way you can always buy that horse (first horse in the video) from valentine's stable, early chapter 2.
In chpt 2, do the bear hunt with Hosea to get the stables open. Then you can get the white Arabian at Lake Isabella, the Pearl Andelusian at Brandywine Drop, and "Maybe" the Bridle Thoroughbred when the O'Driscoll's ambush you(I am seldom able to get that one)
Do not sell the shire that hosea gives you in that mission... it is unique. It has better stats than a normal shire. If you want a "brave" horse early, get the andalusian near the waterfall after the mission and you would be good to go
there are 4 riders in this ambush. the guy with Throughbred Brindle is the last one will attack you. the others 3 you should get rid of them first. that's perfect time to catch the horse.
above the Indian reservation is hyper brindle Arabian. next to the lake that is partially frozen in the north west is the white arabian and above the dam next to the lake on the west side of map is the black Arabian all 3 are the best 3 free horses in the game the only horse that is as good you cant get til the end of the game The Hyper brindle looks amazing but isnt as quick as the white Arabian which is the very best horse in the game all of which are in story mode and you can get as soon as chapter 2 starts
If you go to the stream southwest of Strawberry, and hang out there so Pinkertons spawn and attack you, some of them ride Tiger Stripe Bay Mustangs.

You can often find the Black and a Buttermilk Standardbred in Big Valley.

@@pottuuYou can do it before the bear hunting mission, but you'll have to unalive the Tennessee Walker, and put the saddle on your new horse.

Standardbreds are pretty much my favourites. Big, fast, and fairly brave.

The wild red chestnut Arabian is the best horse.
There's No Sense in getting ANY extra horses before you open up the stables. You'll just lose them when you do.
The best free horse in the game is the white Arabian mare, available from Chapter 2

Andalusian horse is much much better.
above the Indian reservation is hyper brindle Arabian. next to the lake that is partially frozen in the north west is the white arabian and above the dam next to the lake on the west side of map is the black Arabian all 3 are the best 3 free horses in the game the only horse that is as good you cant get til the end of the game The Hyper brindle looks amazing but isnt as quick as the white Arabian which is the very best horse in the game all of which are in story mode and you can get as soon as chapter 2 starts
The one on the Western part of the map isn't black. It is Chestnut, which looks a lot better IMO.
also the arabian int the best horse. overall best is the turkoman
