- This is the Stimulus Check of $2,000 on a monthly basis, which is a proposal for the next stimulus package. This is as close as you get for the proposal of universal basic income.
This is your IRS Economic Stimulus Checks update for the upcoming stimulus check proposal in the next stimulus package.

The taxes we pay do none of these things. It pays the interest on the cash created out of nowhere by the Fed. The more money created the more this country owes to the owners of the Fed. It's website does not hide that it has owners. They receive a yearly 6% dividend in ownership. All money created either goes to banks or to the gov't directly. The government spends it on social programs and military before it has an adverse affect on the economy. We are all being played. Inflation will put all of us on our asses!

I'm not opposed to stimulus in some form, but when you start doing stupid things like paying people to be unemployed and forgiving loans and so forth, not only are you screwing over a third party, (tax payers) but you are also creating a false sense of security on the government. The government that will bail you as an individual out will be the first to screw you when they hit rough water. America is all about working hard and pulling yourself up by the fruit of your own labor. In accordance with the constitution, the only thing the government is supposed to do is support and enforce our rights, which doesn't include getting paid for doing nothing.

The latest: At the end of April adult Social Security retirement, survivor and disability insurance beneficiaries who did not file tax returns in 2018 or 2019 will receive their rebates if they receive their Social Security benefits via direct deposit.
Adult Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients will receive their rebate by early May at the latest, in the same way as they receive their normal benefits.

I don’t get why America is said to be one of the “richest countries“ when we’ve been in trillions of debt.
We have tons of debt but we have tons of assets. Like a rich man that makes a butt ton of cash but has a lot of debt.
I had a teacher once tell me that the national debt is like maintaining credit or even increasing your score. Sure 24 trillion dollars is a lot but in the eyes of other countries/lenders, the country with the highest GDP in the world along with its consumers is seen as trustworthy or a good bet on a return of investment. Keep in mind most of our debt is owed to ourselves. If anything the stimulus should lower our debt, but the way social security money is tied up, it's all funky and presumably can't work like that.
Sheila it is because we might have trillions of debt, but other countries are also trillions of debt to the US, .... if the US cashed in all their notes that other countries owe them, likely they would not be trillions in debt but in order for the countries to "live with each other" so to speak... ie the world trade organizations etc... some are in debt to others, etc ete etc. I agree with him though, 1 month at a time, not 6 months right away,.

Last year I was caring for my terminally ill mother. It was a tough time. She passed away on Jan 4, 2020. I thought the worst was over and 2020 was going to be a better year. I guess not. Sorry for your lost. I understand your situation, I lost my oldest son in 5/2018, my mom went into the nursing home 3/2019. I just knew 2020 would be more peaceful but it started off with my middle son going to rehab after acting out for a year. Now ths virus, I have Faith that things have to get better...🙏

I was making a joke out of it but imagine you live on 2k a month now and get an extra 2k a month for 12 months. The average person is not going to invest that money or save for the future they're going to buy a new car get a better house ect... That's all I wanted to do for a long time. Thank God for this relief of funds. Despite of the world and this pandemic, I will continue to help others as much as I can.
