I suggest that whenever you removed any part from system first you have to remove all power resources from the System and Motherboard (power resource = Battery + Adapter/Charger)
For this particular L480 (I suppose it should work with other lenovo systems as well), you can also turn it off in BIOS. Once you're done, plug the A/C back in. You can google "Disabling built-in battery" for lenovo systems for the instructions, pretty neat.
Hola @SMDSpain! No he podido encontrar información. Muchas gracias.
Hello!! The form factor for L580 is 2280 Nvme / pcie and my recommendation is samsung 970 evo, is the best. Don’t forget to suscribe to my channel please 🙏🏻😉 Regards!
Saludos!
Hi, would you be able to provide a link to a sample 256gb SSD that is compatible? Also is this the process for HDD to SSD (I don't have to buy new cables or frames)?
That's it? You're just going to disassemble while generic, crappy rock music plays? A voice-over explaining what you're doing would be significantly greater than that obnoxious music. Thumbs down

@@groundingtiming Bit late but just do it the old fashioned way. Transfer the data to an external hard drive and transfer it back once it's installed.
