This was a great pitch . I would not be happy with the residents association not including insurance. But i live in chch and think these are well priced

I like this series, learning alot , about what to look for , and ask for in investment developments . Im not an Opus client (yet ) so disappointed but understand how these are snapped up before this airs, keep up the excellent work Opus Partners

      Hi TL,
the series was originally launched and screened through our website www.opespartners.co.nz/the-deal
from late July, but we decided to give it another run on our RUclips channel over the holiday season. Glad you like it 🙏

Interesting- for what was not asked. Estate Fee Simple or Unit Title? I assume Estate Fee Simple given there is a Residents Society not a Body Corporate which explains why Insurance is each owners responsibility.
Being attached these are Terrace Houses not Townhouses. Being attached means extra Insurance to cover any Mortgage Debt if your neighbours Terrace House catches fire.
A Townhouse is Free standing but usually on a very small Lot- often what we call a 'Zero Lot' as the they can be built close to the Boundary
Always whenever many Units come up for Rents, the Rent drops- so Linda is right.
Personally I felt the design could have water proofing issues over time, especially looking at the lack of flashings around the window joinery- but it is hard to see just on a Model.
Have to say it was a pretty average pitch.
Oh, and using Stuff as a source for comparative data is laughable. He lost me there. Nice idea for a Vid Series though. Amusing to watch- very Dragons Den-esque
