Interesting. I think the females would look better in the style of The Lion King (based on the pictures there is two exception, Hover and Sharptongue), but the male lions look good in the unique drawing style of My Pride.
No. this series is horrible. Its nothing but Nothing getting attacked and belittled, with an added taste of her being a god. Theres so many plotholes and just.. inconstisties. No one is there for nothing, there is no HOPE, there is no: hey! Disabled people should be treated fairly! Because no disabled person, or LGBTQ person is being treated fairly in this show, their either evil or a punching bag for the cast members. I could rant about this show ALL day and how it makes me mad.

One whole episode about Proudmane mean behavior at Hover/Longrun for being a lesbian lioness. Have you watched all the episodes of my Pride or just Episode 7 of my pride? You need to watch all episodes to context between each part of the story.

It is always safe to look deeper in shows even if you have to rewatch it over and over again. You haven't seen the real personalities of the characters in My Pride There are a lot of TV shows that people need to look deeper in.
I hope I’m not bad for saying this but the I think the TLK style makes the character’s so much more unique individually then the current style, and seeing the animation in more a comic style with TLK style OC’s would make the story more immersing considering we’d all love watching Vitani-styled Hover
I kinda get what you mean but I'd have to go with the opposite, almost everyone goes with a tlk style for their lion ocs, it's not really something new and tbh it's just not tribble's style, as someone who's watched cow of the wild and such, while the style was alot less refind it grew as tribble animated and i think the style is quiet noce, clean and realistic looking without being too over the top, i like seeing people's unique styles rather than just another copy of tlk style
Gotta say it's the opposite to me as well. I really like My Pride for having it's own style, instead of the same/similar to TLK as many lion comics etc. tend to do. My Pride style is nicely a step in a more realistic direction. People tend to critizise that My Pride female characters look too similar, but in my opinion you can clearly tell them apart if you have eye for details. Besides Nothing, Silentstalk and Farleap look basically identical in TLK style as well, the only differences are their colours and Nothing's scars. Also TLK style doesn't make them look unique: they are basically copies of TLK characters. It would look way better if TLK style tried to make them look like original characters, more similar to the My Pride versions with their physique and all. Not just basically coloring Scar to look like Barkmane and adding his scars and such. Not trying to be mean to the person who made these, but they are not original. It's like if they had made TLK 2 with making Kovu look exactly like younger Simba but with just different colors etc., if you know what I mean.

Likely preparing for the next season. Story-boards and all of that. A lot of process goes into animation and adapting it from a story.
