The parts are all there. Everything can be found at any local hardware store. The metal plate is found in the electrical department . It's just a metal junction box cover. In the same store you can go to were they have threaded rods and metal small metal sheets. There you will find copper sheet and just cut to size. The magnet can be found there as well and so does harbor freight. I assume the magnet was just glued on or something because he flipped the cooper with the magnet and it stayed. (Cooper is not magnetic for those who dont know). Unless he coated the metal plate with something that should be it.

it powers based on surface area. you can use a series to constantly charge an ultracapacitor bank
