My interpretation of this video is that the child is autistic, the woman suffers from depression (maybe she lost her child, seeing as she is following one in the "dream world") and the man is blind. They're all suffering or struggling in their daily lives due to their conditions. Only when they sleep do they enter this dream world, where everything's normal for them and struggles don't exist. They don't share the same dream, but they connect with each other on a spiritual level, knowing they aren't alone in their struggles and that everything is going to be alright, thus the song title "Connection".
This music is heartbreaking. It takes all the sadness and hopefulness of Korean traditional music and condeneses it into a single song. It speaks to me about the strive of the Korean people. They are a special people. Both really melancholic and determined. Of course my interpretation can be totally wrong. But that's what I feel when I hear this song

Sixteen months ago I am certain that I would have moved on to European classical music within the first three minutes simply because it was known and well-loved. I have become conditioned into patience with completely unfamiliar Chinese and Korean stories and music after watching their dramas for the past fifteen months. Now, nothing is as interesting as what will be new for today. 💜
