This song is crushing it. The mood is amazing, the lyrics teared me up. A Bulgarian band Smallman is doing this mix of folk instruments, dark and light themes and also adds these complex rhythms and technicality and this is the closest thing I've heard in the world. Thank you for the deep music!
Jambinai will forever be my best concert experience ever. I have never experienced shedding my tears like I did at that Jambinau concert Roskilde 2014, I cried like a little baby. Love from Denmark
I've been lucky to have caught them live 6 times now, the latest 4 days ago in London as part of the annual K-Music festival - they ended with this number. Blown away as always.
@@DontEverLie Annoyingly I've missed at least two visits by them to London (my gigging area) through sickness, one recently, grrrr. I've just booked to see Seoul Metropolitan Traditional Orchestra (SMTO) and No-Noise in November in a really nice little venue (Jambinai in the same room a few years ago was a blast) - No-Noise seems to be a new venture for Lee Il-woo (guy usually seen centre-stage for Jambinai gigs). It's part of the K-Music festival that Korean Cultural Centre UK puts this festival on each year - with such good stuff. I've booked 5 out of the 6 events this year (skipping the opera singer) - no clue what 3 of the events will be like but Korea hasn't let me down musically yet 🙂
