- Today was such a busy day and it was our first port stop. We spent the day at Sitka, Alaska. It was a rainy day but pretty perfect temperature-wise. We explored Lincoln Street in Sitka (which is a 15-minute shuttle ride from the cruise terminal). Here we were able to check out all of the shops and some of the food trucks. Darlene and I had our first reindeer hot dog. Check out the vlog to see what we thought of it. After our time in Sitka downtown, we visited Fortress of the Bears. This is a bear rescue where you get educated on how the bears of Alaska live. This place is pretty neat and it's awesome to see bears that close. Next, we took a boat ride to an Alaska homestead. Here we at s’mores and have some delicious salmon and crackers. The boat ride over was incredible over Glacier Bay. It is a must-do, probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The land is so peaceful and quiet, wildlife is everywhere, it was a wonderful experience. All in all, it was a great day and I know I must go back to Sitka! Thanks for watching and ENJOY!

Very beautiful scenery!
It really is! I want to go back!
That’s the main cruise ship dock, it’s new. We only have 14 miles of road from one end of town to the other.
So just curious how much was that bear excursion with the smores. Also was it thru RC? Thanks it's costing us $500 for 2 people on Princess cruise lines...
Hey bigguy1403- We always book through the cruise line as they won't leave us behind if we are late for whatever reason. This excursion cost $229 per person. Thank you for watching! :)
Was this a ship tour or did you book on your own? Thanks!
Hi! Thank you watching!! This excursion was booked via Royal Caribbean. We only book via the ship because they will hold the ship if we are late. 😂
@@FunNowRunLater lol.
What month was this cruise?
Hello Suzanne- Our cruise was June. Warmer than we thought it was going to be.
It’s caribou… raindeer is caribou… atleast that’s what I’ve been told.
