Thank you very much calgacus, that is so nice of you to say ! I really appreciate your time to watch & comment :-) The early ones were a bit ropey in both content & video editing but I am trying my best to make the newer ones more entertaining (the mackintosh reds video seems to have had a lot of comments so far) & obviously learning a bit more each time about the Video editing side. Thanks again :-)
Great break mate! Loved the way you arced the white in to the pack. Wasn't a very kind split really, good recovery with the rest and a great recovery blue. Very composed break and quite brisk too. Such a pity about the few extra points, would have been a class century. Smart effects. Keep them comig!!
Hey Robbie ! Thanks for your comments, glad you liked the video. There were a few twitchy recovery shots, I was so pleased to get the clearance :-) It's an occasional success like this that keeps me playing when I think I should be giving up lol. The zoom effects were a little experiment, people seem to think they are ok. I do realise I need to practise to make them smoother etc, but thats half the fun. Thanks again m8 :-)
About time for another vid!!! Class scoring, really nice break to watch. Great action into the pack and unlucky not to get a better split, may have been a century with better luck at that point. Like the pan zoom, are you doing that without actually moving the cam? Nice to see club players do things we sometimes think are beyound are hobby dreams :-) Lets have another carzy shots vid with some appropriate music :-)
Thanks Sam, really appreciate the compliment. I was very happy with the break especially after a pretty poor session. The shot in to the pack off the back cushion is one of my weakest shots, much prefer to screw or stun in to the pack. Just happened this time I got it semi right lol. Will do my best to come up with a shots video of some description soon. Thanks for your support.
Reply to Tijin (can't reply to you directly for some reason). This table was actually set up using the star tournament table template system by a registered tournament fitter. Although it does not say Star on it the pockets, cushions(steel block) etc were all to a strict tournament template.
Hi Mask & thanks for your kind comment & taking the time to view video. I really appreciate it. I am quite proud of this break because this is a very difficult table ! Still trying for a ton on it but not playing well at the moment, lack of practise time. Thanks again.
Terrific break on any table but especially that one! Everything was spot on and made to look so simple. All the pots looked so clean. It looks like you have no fear of pro pockets now. Club pockets will seem like buckets! How are you finding pots along the top cush? Are they as tricky as the commentators make out?
Thanks Magic, appreciate your comments as always. I bumped in to a few players in a different club a few weeks ago who had played a match on this table. They said the table was impossible ! when I told them I have regular 50+ breaks on it they looked at me as if it just wasn't possible & I must be a total liar ! Such a lovely table though, speed & quality wise. You can play shots on this table that are impossible on run of the mill club tables. In answer to your question, yup bloody murder ! Cushion shots are the worst, even a few inches from the pocket & they can catch you out. Funny thing is I still struggle on run of the mill tables though initially the pockets do seem generous ! I know I have said it before, but for viewers of my videos & channel, check out this guys (snookermagic) headcam breaks, just class. Thanks again :-)
Craig Anthony I must admit, the last time i played on a Star table the pockets were frightening. That was 3 or 4 years ago in the final of something. Had to replace a tip right before the match so i never really settled and found the table a beast to deal with. So the challenge now is to revisit that table and show it who's boss...(hopefully) May even film a few bullets along the top cush!! Thanks for the plug. Very generous :)
Your welcome mate, I hope you do, I would like to see it :-) As crazy as it sounds I find it more difficult along the short cushion than the long one ! Thanks again for you comments m8.
Thanks again Mike for the view & positive comment (nice coming from a great player) I started off with basic Windows Movie Maker. This Video was created using Power Director 12 which is a fantastic piece of Software. I am still a real novice with it, but learning all the time. Hopefully the production will get better with practise. Thanks again.
Hi Ali & thanks for you comments. My latest Video's are 123 Clearance (only from a random line up though) & I uploaded a pretty amusing Hot Shots Video A few hours ago (some decent long potting & cue-power shots set to music). Give it a view if you have a few minutes, as I said it is quite amusing. (just click on Craig Anthony above then select Videos). Do you have any Snooker video's Ali ? I am always interested in other peoples snooker video's, whatever form they come in (I assume from your earlier comments you are an excellent snooker player). Thanks again.
In response to a comment made earlier. (I can't seem to reply to you directly I'm afraid). This table does not have star written on the side. It was however refurbished to the star table specification templates, has steel block cushions & ultra fast championship cloth fitted to it & does have table heaters. It was refurbished by a certified World snooker fitter with a professional star template system. I do not think it is a star table "because it simply has heaters" You will notice that not all TV tournaments now have tables that say STAR on them, they are however still cut to tournament templates (The template system is expensive & looks a very impressive piece of kit). I do not claim to be amazing (I don't have the opinion of myself that you seem to have of yourself at least) I do not decry or try to play down other peoples video's or ability no matter if it is far worse or far better than my own. The reason for this is I believe whatever your level the game & enjoying it is no less important to the people who play it. You are probably far far better than I am, I am happy for you that you have such ability. But honestly I don't care either way. My game & how I play, what I achieve however poor by comparison to you is what interest me. I do love to see other people play well (as you will see by my comments on other peoples videos) & I never make negative comments or try to be-little other players. Maybe this is because I don't feel the need to. Nice pool video by the way.
Haha welcome :) I got 30 the other day and was happy Sith that and 37 on the mini line up with 4 reds between pink and black. I'm improving nicely and rapidly now should expect to be making 50 by December 2016
+amarsbarr 30 becomes 40.....becomes 50 & more. I reckon you will hit 50 before December :-) I know you love the game & practice hard & I think you will get your reward ! Lets see some videos from you soon mate !
(Reply to physicsguybrian) Hey Brian, lovely to hear from you ! Thanks as always for your time to watch & your comments :-)

thats a great break on that kinda table . the action on the cue ball as it hits the back would be hard to get on a normal table well done
Thanks :-) Very nice of you to say so. Looking forward to your next video, you have the skill to entertain.
