  • Replacing 2 kitchen sink strainers. Customer had a leak under her kitchen sink on one of the basket strainers. I am replacing both along with the tubular waste drain piping underneath #plumbing #plumber #diy #asmr

    I dislike those strainers you put in. I splurge on the Lucky 7’s. They have more material to work with on the nut.

    Being able to simply unthread those old basket strainer nuts is a rare occurrence lol I can just imagine the DIYers watching this video and going “I don’t need to hire someone to do that.” 😂 their impatient screams make me sleep soundly knowing that I’ll have work in the morning 😂

      Yes! My in-laws asked me to replace their basket strainer, and I had to use an oscillating tool to get those lock nuts off. 🙃 😂😂

    I hate those basket strainers, and I hate that black pipe y’all use wherever that is.

      I prefer the cup style strainers myself but these stay nice and tight to the sink. I needed them to so the trap arm had enough fall

    And you put Putty back? Silicone is the best.
