So those plants are the famous or infamous Leyland plants that were always on strike in the late 1970s and 1980s. The plant pots look better quality than some of the lorries & Vans thstwas made around those parts.
This was a really lovely almost journalist-style video, telling the stories of the railway! It would be great to see more of these, alongside the… what’s that?? Another pointless journey?? 😂
It is great to hear tales from passionate & knowledgeable people - I never realised the story of a plant pot could be so interesting! You should incorporate mentions of "Friends of..." whenever you visit a station with a group in the future. Thanks to @AutoUnder for suggesting the video to @nickbadley!
An excellent video Nick, and a big thank you visiting Leyland and highlighting the work of the 'friends of station' group (and other groups). Look forward to more of your travels.
Thoroughly amazing work by Friends of Leyland Station (as is the work carried out by all Friends of station groups), a massive thumbs up for the excellent work they do 👍
Great video Nick! Friends of stations do great jobs it must be said - they make the network look much nicer and it's a shame the stations near me haven't got more 'friends of' groups (my nearest must be Leamington which has a very interesting Steam train cropped bush!) - thanks for sharing this though :D
It was great to have you visit Nick! Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Are, thats who you are! - I used to be in the group of a certain 'lift' youtuber
@@cantliff9 Ah yes I know who you mean
