Maceo Parker following Prince's verse's is just beautiful musicianship. And with that being said, of all the great saxophone player's he is the most soulful. And I don't mean any disrespect to King Cutis, Stanly Turrentine or Charlie Parker . Who are very soulful players in there own right. If you've ever listen to Maceo's work with James Brown and the Parliament Funkadelic plus the work he did with Prince you'll know what I'm saying.
