Looks so great these axles. And good job with the hand made links. And I do love when you said almost stock and then started a list with all the non-stock parts :-) True RC-passion :-)
I have same axles they are ok the only weak area is the long steering link a small hit bends them look to replace asap if I can find part I ordered on ebay will post
Long term did they hold up? I cant seem to find axle shafts that will hold up in the front. I wanted to use axial u joint axle shafts but they dont fit
Did you have a pan hard link on your original axles ? I bought the same axles and couldn’t mount them to my SCX10ii without making a modified metal piece to make a panhard link on the front axle , any help appreciated 👍🏻😀
REVolutionX RC oh man, these axles are solid, I have 2 sets. Great for the price but there's a massive problem, the bearing are shocking, change them asap when/if you choose to buy them.
I have these axels but in a gold color the problem with them is that the shafts always snap and I tried upstanding them to an actual axial brand universal drive shafts but they didn’t fit so I don’t know a good solution because I love how the rig looks and I don’t want to buy the same shafts because they are going to snap again
Those axles are crap, I don't care who says they're great. Axles don't need to "look good", they need to perform good and be durable. Those are not!!! Good luck with the weak axles and when upgrading, use parts that are better than original.
Howdy. I have an old (8 years old actually) SCX10 that I’ve started to renovate. Surprisingly I went with the exact motor and ESC as you installed. Did the battery relocation and updated the frame braces to aluminum. And went with GMade shocks. I’m looking at the axles you installed from Banggood and am wondering if you had any fit problems mounting to the original frame points and any issues going from 3-link to 4-link up front. And now that you’ve been using them for a few months would you still recommend? Thanks so much.
Hey, I didn't have any problems going to the 4-link setup(other than making sure I had the extra links for it) and they have been working great. I've been pulling a good sized trailer with the scx10 and it has been great. I even had 2 trailers hooked up to it at once and it towed good.
Blue grease, green grease, lets be honest it all does the same job lol. Great video mate, like the whole layout of your video, sweet lighting too, something I definitely need to improve upon lol. Have a nice day dude.
Yea that's true about the grease really, i don't even plan on getting it too wet so I probably don't really need the marine grease but meh lol. Thanks man I appreciate it! I remember the first videos I started doing were so dark, got a led panel light off amazon, it worked wonders
They have been holding up well so far. I've had them out in pretty cold weather(-10C) and have towed multiple trailers with my scx10 since installing the new axles. I have read a thing or two where people have said the gears aren't the best but I have not had any problems with them.

Haha thanks Mikael! I had completely forgotten about all the little things I had done to the rig until I started talking about it lol
How much is the steering angle?
I hope you had better luck than I did with mine. The axle shafts constantly break.
Do you know what brand these axles are I can’t find them anywhere and my shaft broke aswell not sure how to replace it
@@josearamando7593 I did more research, I'm fairly sure that those are SCX-10 axles, look for SCX-10 2 axles, you'll be better off in the long term.
I broke a axle shaft u know what fits?
👍 Awesome looking axles!! Nice update to a old beauty!
Thanks Steve they are def a nice upgrade
How did you connect the servo and the front axle together, please explain how you did it and what parts you used.
I really like that whole set up you are doing. Looks really good and very robust.
Thanks man
I have same axles they are ok the only weak area is the long steering link a small hit bends them look to replace asap if I can find part I ordered on ebay will post
Thanks for the info on them! I luckily enough have some spare steering links if it does get bent
Watch the cvds they break under brushless power brushed they work great
Thanks for the info! I don't have any plans to go brushless so they should be good then
hello congratulations for the video, I wanted to ask you where you can buy these drive shafts
Thanks a lot for the answer
That is a sweet upgrade for an old guy. Make some fun with it mate.!
For sure brother thanks I gonna have some good fun with the deadbolt, has been years!
Nice upgrade. Axles look great 👍
Thanks man
Those axles look good!
I just hope they hold up as good as they look! Thanks brother
What happen to the old axle , do they have the same length as the stock scx10 axle ? 👀✌
Hey dude do axial ring gears fit inside those axles for those of us who wish to have a differential
Cool, really wanted to see these in-depth... Thanks!
Thanks very much mate
Long term did they hold up? I cant seem to find axle shafts that will hold up in the front. I wanted to use axial u joint axle shafts but they dont fit
Congrats on the new axles my friend have fun RCing
Thanks my friend

Really nice upgrade. To the old deadbolt... looking sweet!! NC MOUNTAINS.. ❤👍
Deadbolt feels real nice to drive now it was a great upgrade :D
How do you get the axle shafts in and out in the front? I have the same axles
Hey qustion did they hold up ? How did it do i just bought a set
I've always been curious how the tolerances are on those! I'll be watching to see what you think after a few runs!
Thanks dude, so far I've had one really good run with them and they seem solid so far
REVolutionX RC oh man, these axles are solid, I have 2 sets. Great for the price but there's a massive problem, the bearing are shocking, change them asap when/if you choose to buy them.
Can you attach skid plates to axels?
Hallo, kann man in die Achsen auch ein Differenzialgetriebe einbauen?
Is there a portal you can buy to replace the stock ones?
Nice upgrade, looks good 😊👍
Thanks man
Does it use input gears, or a cv shaft like the axial axles?
how are the axles holding up now? any issues at all?

They sure do look good
@@VoidXRC how do they make that rear bumper or brace?

Void X RC I’ll check them out dude, thanks for the tip ✌🏻
Awesome rebuild till next time have a good one
Thanks mate
Hey boss how many screws are in the ring gear , I want to get some but want to make sure my over underdrive gears will bolt up
I can't remember exactly but I want to say 4 but really not sure.
@@VoidXRC maybe someone else can answer. They have to be those exact type of axles. Thank you to anyone in advance
did it get better with upgrade?
Hi Void X Rc would these fit the smt10 do you know, they would look great.
Awesome hop ups bro! Looking beefy and cool!! 👊🏼😁👍🏼 I see my sticker wooohooo!!
Haha thanks for watching and the comment lol made me laugh :D

Void X RC thanks for the info and a quick response - cheers brother.
Great build and video
Thanks brother
I really like them axles. They would look good on my Mega scx10. 👍
They do look pretty good! I hope they are able to take some good punishment!
Nice axles!
Thanks man
Will a concept tribute wheel fit on there with 25 mm adaptor? Worried that steer knuckle with interfere
I don't have either of those to test, I do think they'd worth though. Also both diffs are locked
Those look killer!👍
Thanks man
Is the front diff locked?
I was wondering if the differential from the stock scx10 axle would fit in these metal ones?
I haven't tried it so not sure.. the next time I have the axles apart I'll try to remember to see if the stock diffs fit.
WHat size shocks are those?
Sweet I would like to try alloy axels on me trail honcho some time good price😁👍
Yea I hope that they hold up well! they do look good
Nice new axial
Thanks man
