    I have a lot of respect for the teachers. It's alot of training and skill to become a Waldorf teacher. Magical places need magical educators.

    Wonderful documentary. I have done some wet felting with young children, using pebbles and roving (wool). It was an amazing process-based art, they definitely enjoyed this experience.

    Rudolph Steiner was an occultist and self proclaimed clairvoyant. He was also a believer in reincarnation. He was not just a philosopher.

      @@ileanareyes3973 Personally I have no problem with him being involved with any of this. I just think some parents don't understand how 'wacky' some of Steiner's beliefs were. For instance he believed that dark skinned people were in a lower state of reincarnation than Caucasians.

    I urge parents and teachers to research Rudolph Steiner's educational philosophies and worldview. I was baffled/perplexed/disturbed about some of his core ideas and beliefs. The classroom environment looks peaceful and rich in nature. Don't judge a book by its cover. Really get to know and understand the founder and his ideas because in order to teach at a Waldorf school, educators must get trained and certified in Rudolph Steiner's educational philosophies and come under his ideas in order to teach at a Waldorf school. Be informed!

    • @xlithiumx3
      @xlithiumx3 5 лет назад +10

      Actually, much of Steiner's ideas and philosophies are not taught and applied today because they do not make sense in this modern world. Many of his own personal ideas weren't included in his curriculum anyway because they were adult ideas not for children. Waldorf school teachers take the good from his curriculum and leave the bad.

      So have you looked into the cult of public schools aka ROTHSCHILD institutions? Please I'd soooo much rather have my children go to a waldorf school the public schools where they teach our children to be slaves to the system .

      She said some of it in the video. They teach many important core skills like rich language, physical development, social skills, pre-mathematic skills, imaginative thinking, small and large motor skills, nature knowledge etc. In case of wooden blocks - they are an open ended toy that supports the develompent of imagination, problem solving, communication and self esteem
