    Slow and steady is good enough when reloading. I have a single stage press and only load 20 to 50 rounds at a time. It's a good way to spend a little time being productive.

    There are videos of guys using an endoscope to provide a visual check on powder charge. I had to knock the center hole out to mount mine where I can see in the case mouth. Worth the few bucks.

    Very nice job on the video, great light. I have several Loadmasters and would suggest to you when you have military brass you hand prime.
    You can feel the primers go in and catch and fix a bad primer pocket before ruining a primer. The whole process goes a lot smoother.

    I know I take for ever and I’m by no means knocking you but this really makes me appreciate my single stage , I use the rcbs partner press for swaging then I decap and resize , from there I seat in a Lee loader I have mounted vertically and finally crimp with the partner press 🤷🏽

    Nice vid. That's a good looking press. Do you find that when the shellplate indexes, one or two kernels of powder will jump out of the case?
    I used to ream out my crimped primer pockets like you do but it just wasn't good enough sometimes so I bought the Dillon 600 Super Swager. Another step but it's fast and easy and, so far, foolproof.
    I like a seating die with a side window on a progressive press. Speeds up the process a little bit.
    I'll check out some of your other vids. 👍🙋‍♂️

    Quick question, is the small primer feeder for small calibers such as 9mm and 223 and the large primer feeder for calibers such as 45acp and 7.62x39

      Depending on what the cartridge has in it some manufacturers are going small all around

    I own a lee load Master and the worst thing about the loadmaster press is the priming system. I personally prime all my 223 cases with a hand primer.

    I single stage press all mine . but try Winchester 748 . it will feed good it's ball powder. and cut your military crimp with a Lee primer pockets cutter and a drill press

    to bad it won't work with 223 thanks for watching

    • @SURVEYSEZ
      @SURVEYSEZ 7 лет назад

      it will you just have to do more prep. cutting the pockets instead of swaging. for a start

      @@SURVEYSEZ there is a luring curve I would say with a single stage to start with

    I’m really sorry to hear about your wife being ill getting back to your press I have the same press you might want to look into getting yourself a powder check die through RCBS I love mine you’ll just remove your priming die over too your empty space thin move your powder dispenser were that other die was just install the powder checker die where your powder dispenser was then you don’t have to worry about looking down into the case you’ll see how much powders in the case just want to let you know sorry for bad spelling and grammar from willie bulletman have a great weekend
