Umm what? Did you see how he treated Audrey? Not that she was the greatest character. Kind of drove her down a rabbit hole. I personally, if I were Pacey, would have fought more to be with the sailing chick from season five, Melanie Shea Thompson. But I also have a huge celeb crush on Jennifer Morrison. She literally just makes an appearance and seemed better for Pacey than anyone else. Personal opinion.

Like, she didn't seem to understand that he had a career, which is rare for someone that young, and couldn't go out partying allllll the time. He still made time for her but that never seemed to be enough and she'd often throw tantrums at him in like every episode. I think the only time Pacey was a bad boyfriend was when he went off on Joey for no reason at prom, and even then it had some semblance of a reason (not that it was Joey's fault, he really shouldn't have projected his insecurities onto her, but he's human).

I still rewatch the full series of Dawsons Creek every 4-5 years, just whenever the urge strikes. Sure, it looks schmaltzy in some scenes now, like a lot of 90's shows do, but the emotional core of the show never ages. There aren't many shows that have ever existed about teens that can still make you cry 20 years later. That, plus he and Katie's love story between their characters, still stands the test of time to this day.
I agree with u completely. They just don't make them like that anymore aside from a few exceptions (such as One Tree Hill, Grey's Anatomy, and The Walking Dead.) The WB used to have all the best shows until it became the CW
I was a 2000s baby, but my mother and older sister took it upon themselves to make sure I watched shows like Dawson's Creek and Friends and I have to agree. The one newer show that I really love that has a lot of heart is This is Us.

Im currently having a Dawson's Creek marathon, I was 10 when the show started, I'm 28 now. I'm glad I got to grow up where people communicated face to face, weren't robotic and glued to a screen 24/7 living life through a filter.
Hello! Exactly the same for me, 3 years later. I loved that era - the early 00s, and I feel so lucky to have been from the last generation to have experienced that time when we were kids/teens.
The guy seems so down to earth and easy going. And he's handsome.

Walter and Peter Bishop are two of the best TV characters of all time. This guy won my respect after Fringe, great performance in an amazing show.
+Marco Romer Walter and Peter are awfully written characters that were just copied from other series. That's also one of Joshua's worst performances ever.

And I was its target demographic when it came out. The only thing I liked about it was its theme song LOL. If you’re from the uk, I’ve been watching the reruns on all4. Believe me, you do fall in love with him over again... and I was there for the first showing 😂😂 he’s so young in the first series but by the time he’s saving Andie, you are completely reverted back to a 16 year old girl lol 😍😍

It’s like figuring out that I actually do fancy Harry Styles 😂😂 but yeah, I think there will always be a special place in my heart for Pacey Witter and watching it again, I was able to appreciate the Joey/Pacey storyline so much better... when I was a teenager there was no one else for Pacey than Andie haha! @@queensquish hahaha I GET it! Have you ever listened to the podcast "Thirst Aid Kit"? There is an episode on Joshua Jackson and they basically just lose their shit about Pacey Witter for like 30 minutes before moving onto his later work. It's so validating lol. But in that, they basically talk about how Pacey was like a MAN when it came to how he loved the women in his life, and they discuss the particulars of how. Not only did it entertain the hell out of me, but it made me feel better about swooning like a monster over a teenager haha.
Also, I came to Dawson's Creek late Season 2 early Season 3, so my intro to Andie wasn't the best, and I was ALL about Joey and Pacey. But I have of course seen the whole series multiple times and I love him with Andie too. I think what has been interesting as an adult rewatching is recognizing how complex a love triangle actually is, and feeling a lot of compassion for every character involved (even though I HATED Dawson the first time around). Oh, to grow older hahah.

I started watching this show recently and I love it! I'd heard of Dawson's Creek growing up but didn't know what it was all about. I'm so glad I checked it out 😀 However, I just reached the end of season 4 so I'm gonna slow down because I cant take much more heartbreak 😞 Pacey + Joey 4ever 💘

I can’t believe I never saw Dawson’s Creek until 2021 lol for me it was like just recently it aired but I soooo loved it and I was so happy to see Joey and Pacey stayed together and there friendship with Dawson stuck. The ending was beautiful but I was so heart broken that Jen died when she seemed to finally get her life together but at least she lived as she wanted no regrets ❤️

I watched it when I was a teenager and I‘m rewatching the show right now. I still love it, but mostly because of Pacey. I loved Pacey back then and still love him. So glad the show ended with him and Joey being together. Didn’t like Dawson very much when I was a Teenie and watching it now, I’m realising how toxic and selfish his character was for a big part of the show. Mid 00s is cool too cause it had a lot of the same fashion and slow internet of the the late 90s/early 00s and was the last era before the social media takeover but was still cellphone heavy
Late 00s/early 2010s high school is unique in the sense that it was before the Smartphone/Snapchat/Instagram takeover but still had its fair share of technology like fast internet, RUclips, Facebook and Twitter... ppl born 1993-1997 are lucky cause they got to experience this era of high school and prolly had a lot of similar experiences to the Mid 00s highschool experience

People born in 80s are lucky they got to experience life before internet and had some really awesome Tv-shows!

@@destinychild4659 Yeah we did. Born in 1983, 1999-2000 was the end of real men and real talk in my eyes. Sometime around 2008-2009 people started acting dumb. Too much internet, videogames and cell phones messed up people's minds.
